Don’t buy
Would give 0 stars if I could.I bought two of these for Christmas presents. Both children opened them up today and neither of them work. On one of them, the plug is actually snapped and on the other it sounds like the bulb is disconnected, but you can’t get to it. Two very sad children this morning and apparently out of the return slot as bought for Christmas more than a month ago. Such a shame!

Gets very hot
I like it very much but out of curiosity I touched it,wow, that’s hot, so don’t touch it after five minutes or so, my fault, I admit, should have had more sense, idiot.

Does not work! Don’t buy this!
Order first one as a Christmas present, wasn’t working. We thought it’s faulty so I asked for the replacement. We got the replacement and it’s not working again! No way to open it to check if the bulb is loose. Very disappointing as it was a Christmas present!

Nice colours
Bought for 8 year old daughter. Takes a while to warm up (maybe 15mins?) and then is wonderful as it blobs around. It gets hot, but not unbearable, you could touch it if you had to (but don’t). It’s sturdy and I don’t feel unhappy having it in her bedroom when she jumps around etc. Good value.

Doesn't work and I don't think I'm the first to find out!
Purchased a couple of months ago as my daughter put one of these on her birthday list - Well today is that day - Open box and it looks like we're not the first to venture inside the packaging - the lamp is dented, wont turn on and looks like it's second hand - Really disappointed both in the product and for the birthday girl, and the return window is now closed :( - Update: given the lamp was past return, I broke out a heat gun and managed to separate the bottle from the base to reveal the bulb and upon inspection the element had broken - New bulb purchased and lamp now works, but still unimpressed.
