ForestLeaf Collagen Supplements for Women & Men Types I/II/III, 120 Caps

Great functional product. Price a bit excessive but it def covers all collagen types and its hydro. I’ve seen some bad reviews that it makes you sick or you have a bad reaction or even that it doesn’t work. Please remember to keep a healthy diet when on a supplement journey. You can’t take a great supplement and continue to apply heat and toxic products to skin and hair and eat horribly then say it doesn’t work or it makes you sick. This is a great clean product. I’ve been taking it forever. I have eczema and sensitive skin and this foam not affect it! If anything my flare ups are down my hair is thickening and growing fast. My nails are growing so fast. The strength is taking some time since I had been using gel for decades. My joints and my bones feel better than ever. It doesn’t make my heart palpitate when I take it in the am in an empty stomach but not during other times of the day.

I'm so happy I placed this order for ForestLeaf Advanced Collagen. The difference was like night and day from the one I was using. I was taking a different collagen and Vitamin c tablet that I got at WM. It was huge with a sharp edge completely around the "tablet" It was like swallowing a tablet all right - more like an Amazon Fire tablet ! I had a couple of times I was afraid I couldn't dislodge them and even tried breaking them, but it was like rock and you could get and even sharper edge if you broke them! Those terrible things cost 3 dollars more than this one and they didn't offer the Hylaronic acid that the FORESTLEAF brand offers. I can tell you that ForestLeaf brand Advanced Collagen was a completely different supplement in terms of results. One bit of information that won't concern you unless you color your hair, Expect to color more often because this WILL very likely make your hair grow faster. Mine grew quite a bit faster. Even taking just 2 capsules a day. My facial skin became more supple and clearer and my fingernails stopped splitting every time I washed dishes or delicates. I have had Knee Replacement ×2 with one in 2003 and another in 2007 and my knees ALWAYS hurt. I don't know how but after about 4 days of taking these Advanced Collagen capsules the stiffness in BOTH Knees went away and I was able to continue movement and not have the "catching" or clicking sensation in my knees slowing me down when I move in different positions. It literally feels like gravel in your knee joint and sometime will stop the motion of my knee like throwing a boulder in front of your car tire. There were also days that these were able to reduce the amount of pain medication I use. That IS a big deal to me because after 17 years on pain meds, antiinflammatories and gabapentin, I just want to have freedom from those things. This actually gives me that freedom once in a while. Ice been taking collagen and HA for YEARS and never has it done so much than this brand has. My point is, just because a bottle SAYS it has the ingredients you are looking for doesn't mean it's going to work like you hope. I obtained zero benefits from the more expensive collagen I took. With Forest Leaf brand you not only get the QUALITY INGREDIENTS you need, YOU GET RESULTS. Without results you might as well just tear your money into little squares and swallow it with a glass of water each day. I think you'll like ForestLeaf for it's quality, it's quantity, and it's quick results. Hope this helps.

Easy to take.

Mar 5, 2019 I noticed an improvement in my skin within a few days of starting the pills. Very nice surprise! My main reason for using this product is for my joints. I have osteopenia and some arthritis. It seems to be helping but I can only afford to take two capsules right now so it is a little difficult to tell how much. I do plan to reorder when I finish this bottle. End of May 2019, I increased to 3 caps per day. Update: June 26, 2019 I transitioned to Multi Collagen Protein Powder because I thought it would be easier to add it to my smoothie, and also get protein at the same time. That did not work. My joints started bothering me again. July 26, 2019 Added the Advanced Collagen at 2 per day as the Multi Collagen Powder was finishing, increasing to the recommended dosage of 4 by Aug 6, and then the joint pain pretty much went away. This has been a major accomplishment for me because the mid back pain would sometimes become severe in the middle of the night and cause my blood pressure to skyrocket. Update: Oct 2, 2019 In September, I was offered some Ancestral Beef Collagen to try, which is quite expensive, and it showed some amazing results in my skin, but it did not work as well for my joints. So I have ADDED back the Advanced Collagen. I now take 2 of the Advanced Collagen, and 2/3 of the Beef Collagen. I am trying out this formula, but definitely will keep the Forest Leaf Advanced Collagen because it has proven to be very beneficial to my joints. The only down side to the chicken collagen is that it gives me gas, which may be due to a sensitivity to chicken. I plan to try some probiotics to see if that will relieve that issue. December 11, 2019 I now take 4-5 capsules of the Forest Leaf Advanced Collagen for my joints. Found that I must have it for my knee and mid-back. A while back when I was running out and had to cut back on the number for a few days until I could re-order, my knee became so painful that I could not sleep one night. In the morning I could barely walk. I hope I never have to do that again. So thankful for this product!!! March 24, 2020 I am still taking this Advanced Collagen and loving it. I do check other products that are available periodically and compare the products and pricing, but I am stuck on this product because it works and is a reasonable price.

After years of night time hip pain, I can slept again. For the past 10-12 years I would wake up during the night with horrible, bilateral hip pain, which only got worse as the years went on. Doctors gave me cortisone shots, which did absolutely nothing. The pain only got worse. I tried several creams claiming to work. I did some research and found out this quite common for postmenopausal women. I tried ForestLeaf Collagen supplements. Within 2 weeks, my nighttime pain was gone. It was a miracle. Highly recommend this product.

While I recognize that every individual is different, I am a 75 year old male and began taking this collagen supplement to help eliminate or reduce bruising from small bumps and scrapes. I hike and backpack several days a week and seem to bruise easily over this past year. For me, this collagen supplement has been exceptionally effective. After only five days, taking one capsule per day, I have noticed a positive difference in my skin's texture and no bruising marks on my arm. I will continue on my one capsule per day regimen. I recommend this product and hope it will work for you.

I’ve been taking only a few weeks and I’m not sure I can concretely see any changes as yet. There are so many positive reviews I’d like to say they’re worth it but the main reason I’m reviewing is bc I realized that one serving of these pills is 1/12 what is recommended for collagen intake! I’m going back to powder in my drinks once I’m done with these (which shouldn’t be long if i swallow 6 or 12 a day! 😉) my fault for not comparing mg’s but posting it here to help the next person! Some people maybe only want a small dose. I don’t want to overdose, but I do want more than 1000.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I first purchased these collagen capsules for my mother through another retailer, but Amazon's price is better, so future orders will be through Amazon. My mother had been taking a more expensive chewable collagen supplement for years, but as she doesn't have any noticeable wrinkles or crows feet and has always had healthy, fast-growing hair and nails, she was taking the chewables more as a deterrent and couldn't really say if she was experiencing any benefits, as she's also never had any joint issues, either. When her favorite chewables were discontinued, she asked if I would research other brands for her, and I found the Forest Leaf capsules. She's been taking them with as little expectation of any noticeable change as she did with her previous brand. So she was very surprised when, halfway into her second bottle of 120 capsules (she takes 3 a day instead of the recommended 2 capsules), I noticed that her neck and jawline -- which were just starting to lose some firmness -- appeared more taut. When I asked her if she'd lost weight or was doing something different, she said no, and just thought she was going through a "good phase." But it's now a couple of weeks later, and her jawline and neck still appear firmer. It's subtle, so not like she's had a facelift or laser tightening, but whatever the cause for the improvement, my sister and I definitely noticed it. The women in our family tend to be natural skeptics, so my mother is reluctant to credit these collagen capsules with the change in her face and neck, but says she'll continue to order them, as they have other health benefits, and they're certainly better for dental health than those sweet chewables she used to love. She also finds the capsules easy to swallow, and considering that she recently started experiencing other supplements getting stuck in her throat, that's a definite plus. One caveat is that she's noticed no hair health benefits when it comes to her once very thick hair that's going through age-related thinning at the front. But others seem to have experienced thicker hair with this supplement, so she'll keep taking them. NOTE: I do a lot of ingredient research and also thoroughly read reviews before purchasing supplements, and I noticed that one reviewer seemingly mistook the "vegetable cellulose" listed as an ingredient for the capsules as meaning the capsule content itself is a vegetarian product. And others took objection to the magnesium stearate, which is used in very small quantities, as a flow agent to avoid caking of the powder in the capsules. The FDA declares it to be safe in the quantities for which it is normally used. So if you're not a vegetarian and aren't fearful of magnesium stearate, don't let it put you off trying this supplement.

The product arrive on time as stated. The capsules are easy to take. I take 2 capsules in the morning instead of 4 a day. My hair is thicker, but I'm not sure if it's due to these capsules and the rosemary oil concoction that I made. My nails are also long and strong. My skin is looking good. So all in all, it's a good product.
