This is a brilliant movie if this is your genre - it isn't mine but my hubby loves movies like this! Well worth adding to your collection if your a fan of these like hubby!!!

This is one of the most previous of all the Resident Evil movies and probably the coolest and most stylish for its action quality. I like this episode because unlike all the other movies, even though I think they are all totally cool (particularly the second one) almost every single scene that takes place in this is all totally cool, action packaged and well-thought for a resident evil movie. Its true that in the other movies, mankind stands some chance at survival but now, in this one 'Resident Evil: Retribution' nearly all of mankind if not the whole thing is wiped out my the zombies and all of Umbrella corp's abominations in general, the whole world has been turned into a zombie and monster infested hell hole and the whole planet's situation and understanding in general is all about Umbrella Corp and its research program to create the ultimate abomination (and for god knows what reason, which I think is at the same time crazy but thats also what makes it so cool in terms of its awesome quality in a zombie slaying action.) In this episode of Resident Evil, the main character played by Milla Jovovich has to team up with some elite commandos, infiltrate one of Umbrella Corp's main company plants, undermine and take down its powerful, armed corporate forces and kill of a whole legion of gruesome monsters in doing so, all guns blazing throughout! Totally Awesome!Because Im such a fan of resident evil, anything to do with monster slaying action and this movie was so cool, I give this full marks and would recommend it to anyone who likes the same movie or games action genre.

Delivered in likely indicated time. Bought to rematch after some time. Been decent and fair enough the franchise series as you sort of get a idea more the same thing characters developed and some return from old ones,clearly action all way bit heavenly dependent franchise,at times too much somewhat rushed, landscapes seem fake, dialogue not always up to the mark, visuals impressive, stylishly hollow enhanced set pieces, actually felt like you maybe watching a video games of anything. Blu ray quality examplary.

I was a little put off this film because of some of the reviews on here but i bought it anyway as i have seen, and own all the other Resident Evil films. I have just finished watching it and had to come straight on to leave a review because i thought it was amazing! Like people have said, it is full of action from word go. I thought i might not like that as i am not the worlds biggest fan of action films. This however was super cool. I note that someone said there is nothing to explain what happened to characters from past films. It does explain, in its own way granted. Yes most arent in it from the previous film, but does anyone really care? I wasnt bothered as i personally found the previous film really poor. That was my least favourite film of them all. Other characters from the first and second film are back in, not in ways you would expect. I think some viewers might not get the film and its format and thats probably why they left confusing (to me) reviews, saying that the film was terrible, didnt have a plot etc. Dont be put off by other reviews. Everyone has their own opinion so i say watch it and make your own mind up. I wish i had seen this at the cinema, it would have been unreal! 5 STARS

I really like the Resident Evil movie franchise and was looking forward to watching this after seeing the trailers for it but I've got to say I was a little disappointed with this movie, it was great to see some of the old cast from the first movie etc but I just felt the story was weak, I know that these are not going to be the greatest story lines but I would have wanted abit more than you get, the action is still great and I can't complain about that and is what you would expect from a Resident Evil movie. It looks and sounds awesome on blu ray and I couldn't be happier with that, so it's a enjoyable action movie like the other movies but if your abit of a fan like me then you will enjoy it but just think there's something missing.

It makes me laugh when reviewers like Chris Tookie in the Daily Mail try to review Resident Evil films like serious movies. Paul WS Anderson knows his audience and what they want and its for them that he makes these films, and he is a master at it.Mrs Anderson aka Milla Jovovic is the key that holds these films together and she is a master (mistress?) at it as she fights her way through yet another Umbrella Corporation nightmare even finding time to display her human side when she encounters a young deaf girl who has been cloned to believe she is her mother.And it is through the magic of cloning that we againget to meet a whole host of returning RE favourites like Rain and Jill Valentine.The film opens with the opening sequence running in reverse slow motion and it works a treat making the same scene in realtime when it arrives even more enjoyable.The other thing that Paul WS Anderson is a master of is 3D and this movie is superb in this format. Yes there are a few thrill shots but overall he settles for great depth of field and scenes like where an axe pick flies off to one side of the screen accompanied by the appropriate sound effect are outstanding.Like they say about all guilty secrets - go on....you know you want it!

Como película 3D le doy un 10, ya que sin duda alguna tiene el 3D mas potente que he visto nunca, eso sí, si queremos verla como película 2D sera mucho menos espectacular y muchas de las escenas nos pareceran que han sido metidas con calzador simplemente por el hecho de buscar un efecto 3D espectacular.Esta versión es de un único disco, y a pesar de que en su estreno me decepciono un poco con el pasó del tiempo le he cogido más cariño que a ninguna por ser "loquísima" nunca sabes si lo que esta pasando es real o no y te lleva de una localización a otra completamente distinta sin parar haciendote preguntar en todo momento que es lo que estas viendo.Me encanta!

Bel prodotto, ottimo film! Il film parla da solo, per i fan della saga è imperdibile. Finalmente hanno fatto tutta la serie in steelbook con la stessa logica, in modo che ad averli tutti vicini fanno la loro porca figura. Peccato per l'interno senza un foglietto o delle stampe, sarebbe stato il massimo!
