Chenille is a commitment
I can remember seeing chenille bedspreads on my older relatives beds and always wanted one. For the money, this is a beautiful duvet cover. I love the look of it. Yes, it sheds. A LOT. Perhaps it will shed less with each washing. In the meantime, I wake up with fuzz in my hair and each morning, after I make my bed, I have to pick fuzz off my clothes. These things I’ve accepted. The thing I cannot stand is how tiny fuzz balls collect on my sheets. I change my sheets weekly and by the middle of the week I can start to feel ‘pilling’ on the sheet. I buy high end linens because I hate sleeping on cheap sheets that pill. Now I have my duvet dropping fuzz balls on sheets that I have pick off every morning. I have read that applying a spray starch to the chenille may prevent shedding. I will try that the next time I launder it. If that doesn’t help, I’ll be taking this duvet cover off my bed.

Sheds more than a fuzzy cat
As soon as I took this out of the package, my dog sniffed the package and started coughing (not normal!). This duvet sheds worst than the fuzziest cat. I tried to tumble it in the dryer and had to empty the lint trap at least 5 times and there still is fuzz all over this duvet. I have purchased Madison Park bedding before and been very happy with it, but not this one.

Really beautiful
Exactly how it looked in the picture and it was very pretty. But after seeing it on my bed, it was too yellow and I felt it wasn’t a good type of fabric to have when you have cats sleeping on your bed all day. It just would collect hair and drive me nuts! Plus the fur part I think my cats would chew. So I returned it unfortunately.

The looks.
This is a beautiful Duvet. But, it sheds quite a bit when you first wash it. I took the time to remove the lint, and they're was quite a bit. I would say it took me around 5 hours before all the lint was remove both inside and out. It's worth it and it looks absolutely beautiful.

Sheds all over the place..
It got here fast, the only positive thing I have to say at this time. I am still thinking about returning it. When the reviews state shedding, they are telling the truth. I should have spent more , perhaps chenille sheds period. This will not stop, if you lean up against it, you get fuzzies all over your clothes. Would not recommend. Spend the almighty dollar and get something worth it!
