Review: Very happy! - I used a flour sieve to add the glitter to the paint, but not sure it was necessary as there was no clumping at all. I used a bath scrunchy to make a glittery marble pattern on plain walls, I can't begin to say how good the finished look was, and no need to buff. Subtle glitter finish that has transformed the room. I was quite nervous about using it, but it was so easy: so glad I gave it a go! Review: Very happy with as not using for intended purpose - It worked when mixed into Grout :) - Whilst this has been advertised as for emulsion paint I was willing to (In the name of science) try these out as an additive for the grout I was putting down in the hallway. It worked very very well, I used about 1/2 the bag of glitter to 2.5KG of Dry Grout and when done I had a nice even coverage of glitter grout. The glitter stands out very well against the Anthracite coloured grout and It has definitely proven to be better than the B&Q Glitter which just doesn't show up with any clarity. (I think the size difference helps, This is a much larger glitter then the B&Q stuff) My Only issue now is I have to clean out the B&Q glitter grout and redo with this glitter to ensure all the grout lines look the same. Looking at it in the bag, it looks the same?** A: It's much finer than craft glitter and shimmers more in the light, I've used both this and craft glitter and it is far superior 😊 **Q: If u get bored of the wal can you just paint over it or would it need sanding down? Does it leave a rough finish?** A: I would be amazed if you got bored! but i imagine you could paint over it as the glitter is awesome and does not have a rough finish! **Q: Can I use this in oil based eggshell.?** A: I believe that emulsion is the best paint to use as you will not be able to mix the glitter in properly also could just go into clumps **Q: Do you have to go over it with a clear coat afterwards** A: No you dont, they suggest that you go over it with a soft cloth to make it shine, I didn’t because it is already sparkling. What I did was give it a first coat of paint without the sparkle, then added the sparkle to the second coat, easy. Read for more info on product *by B***Y on 19 January 2020* The product was amazing and is definitely worth the price! It does say on the pack that it doesn’t mix well with “bathroom” or “kitchen” paints HOWEVER I mixed mine with my blue bathroom paint (as you see in the video) and it turned out absolutely amazing! I bought two bags and used 1 whole bag and around 60% of the second bag. The glitter really shows through and it is amazing. I definitely do recommend this for any type of paint including “bathroom” paint. The only difference I could see was the fact the paint was getting slightly thicker which actually turned out to be a bonus, as I didn’t need too many layers for the colour & glitter to show! 100% recommend. It’s cheap, easy to use and literally no hassle. You will have bits of glitter everywhere but that’s not an issue. Honestly if you’re debating whether to buy it..
