TrailMax Outdoor Canvas Patch Kit to Repair Pop-Up Campers, Canvas Tents, Boat Covers, Tarps

This stuff is great. I got mice in my camper over the winter, chewed through many places in the canvas. This canvas is similar in material to the 30 year old Sunbrella Canvas, and the glue acts like an school glue but turns into a latex rubber. I used to glue to 'caulk' the edges and it looks like a truly lifetime repair. You cannot pull it off and its waterproof.

This patch kit worked great on a hole that was about the size of a quarter that was in the canvas of my pop up camper. The patch stuck well on the inside, needed extra glue for it to stick on the edges on the outside but that was because that area is smooth. The patch stuck perfectly to itself tho and sealed the hole, it rained that night and did not leak at all. So glad I was able to find this and it worked so well, was definitely an easy fix!

Used this to patch up and old army canvas tent. This product held up during our hunting trip. I haven’t tested the patches yet this year but I’m confident they will be fine. This was one of the cheaper repair options and I think it’s done well. The only thing I wish was that we could’ve gotten more of a green patch color instead of the tan. But as long as it keeps the rain/snow out I’m happy. Also we found that putting in the patches themselves was really easy to do.

Worked great! We bought a used canvas tent from a person who claimed it had no holes.... It had FIVE decent sized rips, and holes. My husband followed the instructions and sealed up the holes/rips and it's been holding strong. We've kept it set up through some decent rain storms and the patches are doing their job.

This patch kit works amazing. Used it to repair holes in a large canvas tent. Small holes, large holes as long as the patch covers it you will be good. All I did was: 1- applied the adhesive around the hole. 2- cut a patch just a little bigger than the hole. 3- applied the adhesive around the outside of the patch where it would meet up with the adhesive on the tent. 4- waited a couple minutes for the adhesive to tack up. 5- then applied the patch to the tent by applying a little pressure around the perimeter of the patch. 6- just for a little reassurance I then applied 2 layers of adhesive around the edge of the patch to keep it from possibly pulling off. I used my finger to apply the adhesive. I applied the patches while the tent was set up in a shop. Could just as easily be done laying on a work bench or the ground. This repair kit will be a must have for my camping gear!!!!

Very runny but seems to stick well

My husband and I purchased a pop-up camper with canvas and vinyl on the ends. One end had about a 7-8 inch tear in the canvas near, but not at, the seam. I first purchased a Speedy Stitcher and sewed the tear closed. Then, I used this patch kit to apply a patch behind the sewn tear. I read the directions thoroughly before using. My first attempt didn’t seem quite right, so rather than attempt to fix, I started over with a new piece of canvas. On the second attempt I got it on correctly. Advice: FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY AND TAKE YOUR TIME. Have been using the camper all summer in torrential downpours and have ZERO leaks (trust me…the repair is directly over where I sleep). I now keep this kit in the camper at all times, just in case!

Actually amazed by how well this stuff worked.I had a seam almost 2ft long on my pop up camper canvas that a tree limb tore through. Literally folded the edge back how it was stitched and glued it back together with this stuff. Super strong in a matter of minutes. The fabric included for patching also appears to be very comparable to the Sunbrella material that you see on most pop ups.

It works and was very easy to fit following the simple directions.
