BBQ Branding Iron

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son -in-law to use when barbecuing. Novel idea.

Really great gift, good quality.

i took a risk on buying this as the reviews mostly say the design is poor and letters move etc. the actual quality of the item is pretty good, but i totally agree that it doesnt work well as the letters move about and are not at all secure. as far as i can see this would very easily solved by the "track" (as its called on the packaging) which holds the letters being re-designed slightly so that the letters fit far more snugly. the "loop locks" which are supposed to keep the letters in place are very flimsy and although a "tighter" track would help them work better, the longer the message, the less space is left for the loops and so they are dangerously loose. i think they dont need to be so long, even for 2 letter messages the spacers could be used so the loops could be half their actual length and not be as likely to move. im going to try and "pimp" my "track" so the letters fit tightly then it should work a treat

brought for a fun gift and it was very well received!very fun idea and the quality was okay enough, not sure about how well it would actually work but the idea is great and a great novel gift for the bbq/meat lover

Bought as a gift for my son in law. He loves cooking on his BBQ and he loves gadgets. All he needs now is the good weather to try this item out.

This is great and raised smiles all round when I bought it as a present. However, using it shows it to be useless - tat / ‘fun’ value only.The letters fall out into the charcoal, instantly uselessAs it can’t be used; if I could give less than one star, I would.

arrived in uber quick time for Xmas and looks decent quality... just need the rain to stop to try it out

The Branding iron with adjustable letters is good fun for the man who has everything and enjoys Barbque's.
