This cleared my daughter right up we used this and the salicylic acid they have and she purged for a few days as stubborn blackheads annd deep comedones surfaced and boom clear!!! My older teens are on accutane/isotretinoin and I’m so sad we didn’t find this for them. I will suggest this to anyone

The only cruelty free benzoyl peroxide that isn't 10% strength. 10% BP is unnecessary for maintenance. That is the only reason I buy this. I can’t justify buying another product that does test on animals even if it’s less expensive and better in other ways. Unfortunately, they no longer sell the 16 oz bottles. This 8 oz bottle doesn’t last nearly long enough for the price tag. To me, the cost is worth it to feel a little better about the product I’m using. My main complaint with this stuff is the pump. The formula dries down in thick, sticky globs that clog the pump. Can’t clear it by running the pump under warm water - it’s too sticky. So I end up using a fingernail to unclog it; then the dried goo gets stuck on my fingernail until I pry it off, lol. I swear I never learn my lesson and always get right to it, pumping some on a loofah with reckless abandon. The combo of the clog and the pressure applied via the pump - a plentiful squirt escapes and is rocketed at full speed to the ceiling, some far mysterious corner, or - like today, directly into my f*n eyeball. Yay! They need to get rid of the pump and bring back the larger bottle. Never had any issues with excessive dryness or flakiness. BP is BP - use a high quality moisturizer after or regret it.

This is a medicated skin treatment. NOT a soap. I see reviews that don't understand. It is the same active ingredient as the expensive Proact brand. I got smaller bottle to try it out. I have fair, sensitive, old lady skin. I got mainly to try to help with cysts in private areas. It does turn my face red and hot if I leave it on too long but that is what the active ingredient does. Most acne products use salicylic acid and that has never done anything for me. BP kills bacteria, Salicylic is supposed to unclog pores. Do your research, search for acne treatment active ingredients and find a product for your problem. I get cysts less frequently so far and would have better results if I kept up with my routine better. You can try and delude benzoyl peroxide yourself, just know it will bleach colored fabric.
