default flashing pattern
The default flashing pattern goes through all the patterns. So you have to select the pattern you want every time you turn them on. So dusk timers won't work hands free. Other that that. They are nice warm and bright.

Great lights, 8 modes, you get them all no matter what
I like these lights. Decent price, good enough quality. 8 settings. You can even select a mode. Too bad the lights don't remember the setting from one night to the next. Now, my house flashes WAY too much. Bought enough to do the whole front of my house. BAD choice. Considering taking them all back down and returning them.If there is a way to get them to stay on one setting (#8, always on) it would be great to know, but NO instructions.

Good luck getting these to stay on the setting you want
So, this didn’t come with a remote but even if it did, these would still be massively inconvenient. The lights have multiple different settings (as in they can flash, they can slowly dim and brighten, they can stay completely solid and not do anything etc). We want ours to just be solid, no flashing or anything. Like I said, there was no remote control included, but there is a button attached to the wire. So we adjusted it from the wire. However, once the timer goes off and then they turn back on again the next day, they automatically reconfigure to be in the setting that just rotates through every single setting. So for one minute they stay solid, then the next minute the flash, the next minute they dim, etc. So that means every single day I either have to get on a ladder and press the button to put it on the setting I want, or I have to just let them rotate which looks ridiculous. Even if I had a remote, it would be so inconvenient to make sure to go out there every single night and flip through the settings, but I don’t even have THAT luxury. We already paid to have the lights hung professionally but sadly we will be returning.
