Does it come with a hook, or something so that it's ready to hang?

It has a hook and is ready to hang, but not outside a bedroom window.

Looking for something to annoy my neighbours .... will this do the trick or do I need to look for bigger ones ?

This is a waste of money , hardly any noise at all , if you want something that will drive evil deaf spirits away get a large metal tubular one look at the size carefully many are only 14 cm - 25 cm long go for 40 cm instead

How many decibels in loudness???

It’s hard to say but a comparative sound would be a wheelie bin being rolled along. Not loud, quite comforting. That said, avoid hanging it where it will catch any strong winds. Mine was blown apart when hung in a tree exposed to strong Westerlies! Hope that all helps

What is the average diameter of the tubes please?

There are six tubes ranging in size from 3.5cm to 5cm diameter - I’ll leave you to do the maths to calculate the average size! 😊 They look fairly chunky to me and have survived well in bad weather. It’s very windy today and they’re sounding lovely.
