I do mo regret buying this, great clear video, no problems so far. I opted for using the 256gb SD card, although i tried the pay for cloud free trial, that i did not renew. Easy to use App that is free, view realtime or saved on SD, easy to manage or delete footage. All in it is great for the money, i have mine monitoring my garage

This is the second of these cameras that I have fitted. I am very pleased with them both. They are easy to set up and connect to the phone , Alexa automatically connects once the phone is set up. Physically fixing them to an outside wall is fairly easy as the bracket only needs four holes drilling in the wall but the two screws that fix the camera to the bracket are very small and fiddly to fit. There is quite a high probability that one or both will be dropped whilst trying to insert them. The video is very clear, the built in floodlight is quite bright and the infra red night vision works well. The sound quality is not perfect but completely acceptable. Movement sensing and tracking are excellent. All in all a great camera and well worth the price.

Quality is very good. Its easy to set up. It works standalone via a mobile phone app or with an existing NVR. It supports natively the H.265 ONVIF stream. However with tools downloaded from the UMOU support site you can swap it to H.264 for an older NVR. However its so good I am buying a newer NVR and buying another. It detects movement or specifically people or cars. It records to a inboard SANdisk or to the external ONVIF NVR CCTV system. Timed notifications and adjustable siren and light when activated. Basically its good but I have only had it a few days so time will tell how durable it is. However for £27 its a steal. p.s The support team in China are good they respond to questions with good advice and quickly.

Bought the first one to replace a failing cam, expectations wern't great but its turned out quite good. Once Id downloaded the Imou config tool from their website i changed the IP address easily to fit in with my static IP wired system. Picture quality excellent, nightvision via IR excellent, colour nightvision using the integrated floordlight even better. P&T function works fine with my sunba nvr, only downside (which is why it only got 4*, not 5) is that i cant integrate the presets available in the imou phone app with my nvr. Motion detection works through to my nvr fine via onvif .. all in all, very pleased with it so far and have just ordered 2 more to replace . word of advice though - disable the motion detection initiated sounder as it will anoy your neighbours 😊

I initially purchased the Imou 2K outdoor camera for my garden and was so impressed by its performance that I ordered a second one for my front door shortly after. The image quality is excellent, and the setup was straightforward. The first camera has been running flawlessly from day one. However, the second camera had connectivity issues from the start, frequently going offline and sometimes failing to load entirely. Despite troubleshooting and keeping the firmware up to date, the problem persisted. I reached out to Imou's customer service, and they quickly responded with helpful advice. When it became clear that the issue was likely due to a fault with the camera, they arranged a replacement without any hassle. The replacement camera has been flawless and performs just as well as my original one, restoring my confidence in the product. Imou’s after-sales support was exceptional, handling my concerns promptly and professionally, which truly makes a difference. I am incredibly pleased with both the camera's performance and Imou's excellent customer service. Highly recommended if you're looking for reliable security cameras with a brand that stands behind its products!

Update For some reason I cant get it to tilt downwards sufficiently, but it will tilt up enough to film the sky! So logically I thought turn unit other way up to enable good downward view - except image is now upside down. This is last straw for ne with this piece of cheaply made Chinese rubbish. More plastic for the recycling bin. The only thing in its favour, the images are clear, it captures most events (but not all - something happened which caused pot plants to be scattered across a wide area and a large bin to be knocked over, but the camera didn't record it.) On the minus side, and its a big one, although there is the option to use your own memory card rather than subscribe to Imou's service, I did the 7 day trial of it, and whereas all the recordings on subscription service are shown on the home page, they make accessing the recordings on your card awkward and unintuitive, only one recording is shown on the home page - you have to press the two dots beneath this single recording in order to get the menu with option to view all recordings), its impossible to delete old ones or ones you dont need, nor can you apply a setting like only keep previous 7 days recordings, with the result your memory card soon fills up - pretty sure this is done to make people give up and subscribe. Tantamount to blackmail imho. I hate this kind of deliberate bad programming in order to frustrate customers who havent forked out for their subscription service. I will be selling this, and buying a different company's camera - one which doesn't have subscriptions, and performs as promised without one.- and likely solar powered too. I am unlikely to buy an IMOU product again.

I purchased a imou camera about 5 years ago. All was fine for a while then the image became insanely grainy it was nearly impossible to see anything. The cost was around £99 and we left it up as a detterent. Spotted this one for outdoors(previously only indoor) at the hard to believe value of just £34.99 approximately. It is amazing and then some. Pitch black outside in this image, this is using the colour nightvision feature your offered. You could talk to your postie from halfway round the world to leave parcels with neighbours etc..... Pan, tilt and zoom was a huge selling point. Id love to drop a critique in hear somewhere, but im really really struggling . Let's go for cloud storage is only free for 2 months then continue to pay or use the on board sd card and upload any footage if and when needed! Pretty sure i could write a book but ill close the curtain now.
