These are SO good. I had some problems ordering from The Cumin Club directly (crazy tracking info) - love that I can get them direct from Prime. These packets are easy and SO very good.

Tasted pretty great - a bit pricy for the content received, but still quite satisfactory taste-wise

My local Aldi‘s had coconut Greek yogurt that paired well with some of the spicier flavors. It would be fun if the company printed a pairing chutney recipe on the bag. As I am learning more on cooking with Indian flavors, this pack opened me to some dishes I hadn’t tasted before. I enjoyed these dishes immensely! Rice in the rice cooker, let the dog out, prepare water, add packet, and you have a simple finished dish. (Simplistic task of letting out the dog to emphasize ease 😅)

They seem to expect you to be eating their meals every night - their expectation for reorders is unrealistic. (Yes, you can cancel.) Also "ready in 5 minutes - just add water" isn't completely accurate. One of the items calls for 20 minutes in the microwave. I'm not an expert on Indian food, so I can't comment on that aspect, other than that the meals I tried, tasted o.k. to my uneducated palate.

I love Indian food, and wanted something easy to make at home that would be closer to restaurant quality. Frozen meals and jarred sauces are fine, but they’re bland and taste like preservatives. So far from my Cumin Club variety pack, I’ve had the Pav Bhaji, Paneer Butter Masala, and Methi Matar Malai. The Paneer Masala and Methi Matar Malai are so good I can’t believe they’re not from a restaurant. Just the right amount of spice (not hot at all, I mean they used enough of the flavor spices), and so creamy! I served mine over microwaved basmati with cumin seed and a side of naan. Yes I know, it’s supposed to be either rice OR bread with the gravy entree, but this way makes it more filling and stretches the gravy a bit. This is a very generous portion for one person. Not quite enough for two, but they didn’t skimp on the product. For the price, the quality can’t be beat, from my experience. I’ve already been raving about these meals to my family, and I’m in the middle of eating the Methi Matar Malai right now, and just had to write a review. I’m not a vegetarian, but I don’t miss meat with these meals. I will definitely be buying more of these.

WOW. Such delicious, flavorful, reasonably priced meals that go a long way. I love Indian food and wasn't sure what to expect of these meals where you just add water - but I was willing to keep an open mind. These exceeded my expectations, and my whole family loved these. Great variety, taste that's like what you get in a restaurant, and I will definitely order again!
