Is there just one cable for power and recording to the camera or two? do they record audio and lastly can a USB stick be used to take video off disk.

Can I view all 8 cameras on the monitor at the same time?

The software allows up to 64 cameras!! I only have 4 which is fine. Using the software you can look at 1 camera full screen or all 4 or 8 or 12 etc, the more cameras the smaller the picture of course, the answer to your question is yes. I can also view all 4 cameras on my phone but I don't think it has provision for anymore, but there again I only have a 4 camera system. Hope this helps, there is one downside in that I can't get the alert system to work ie I am unable to set up the system to e mail me when motion is detected which it is supposed to do.

Can I connect a ptz camera and control it remotely with my smart phone?

can the camera cables be extended? 60ft might not be long enough for a couple of locations i need to place cameras
