Electric Mason Cordless Vacuum Sealer Kit for Food Storage

I picked this up on the advice of a friend when we were talking about our meal prepping, canning, and general ways to stretch a buck in the kitchen. It deserves a review - this thing is great! What it does & how it does it: 1) Pop it over the metal lid (w/o the band part) on top of a standard or wide mouth canning jar —using the whole device for standard jar openings, or unscrewing and removing the bottom part to accommodate wide jar openings. 2) Press and release the only button on top of the device. 3) Watch the digital display count the seconds and finish automatically with a quick “poof!” decompressing itself from your lid/jar. 4) Lift off the device and attach your metal band (🤘) over the airtight lid. **when completed, the digital display will show the percentage of remaining battery life. Nice. 👍 Bonuses in the box: 1) usb/usbc charge cord 2) Wide and standard metal lids (no bands) 3) Keyring opener to remove tightly-sealed lids 4) Lid label stickers (round) Why my friends and I love this thing: 1) It legitimately does seal in freshness all by itself. —Kinda like a Food Saver/vacuum sealer does. 2) Perishable food lasts measurably longer and stays *fresh.* (Medjool dates and pre-dosed coffee are 11/10 in my pantry now.) 3) Easy, hands-free, and weirdly satisfying to use. 4) Less waste, but also ditching so much plastic by reusing glass jars and metal lids. Instead of vacuum sealing in plastic. 5) The pantry is tidy and I can see what I have at a glance in glass. 6) Battery lasts & the device is compact. 7) Intuitive - it doesn’t really need instructions. I’m glad I purchased this little guy. It would make a great, original host/ess or housewarming gift for someone who cans, or has a garden, a Mason jar collection, or runs a tight pantry! As someone who has always used the water based canning method, I was a bit skeptical at first of using vacuuming sealing to can. I read through countless reviews as you may be doing right now and decided to try this one. After using the product for a few months, here are the highlights I have found with this product. - The battery lasts a long time: I have only needed to charge it once and have had 35+ seals out of it and it is only at 43% now. - It is simple to use: You simply put a lid on, push it down over the top, hit seal, I let it count to 40, then just pull it off and its done! - The sizing it easy to change: You just twist the bottom off and its ready to seal a widemouth jar! - You can use it for a variety of things: I bought this to seal my coffee in mason jars and it has kept them fresh for months! I have used it also for homemade marshmallows, breadcrumbs, and candy. - This is a must buy for coffee fanatics like me who like a variety of beans but constantly have stale beans from having too many bags open at once! You can have as many kinds of coffee open that you want without having to worry about them going stale. You can unseal the jar, use the coffee grounds you wish, and seal it again without having to worry. - Easy to clean: You can either take off the attachment and wash it, or it easily wipes out! By the video attached you can see how I seal a jar of coffee grounds. At the end when I pull of the lid, you can hear the seal come off and it shoots a few grounds out due to the vacuum. So you can see it really works!

Saw this on a utube review. I've canned all my life and used a vacuum sealer for over 50 yrs. so I can give an honest review. Always bought in bulk so vacuum sealing was just part of shopping day. This utuber was just telling people about this product, so after doing some reach I purchased AND Wow Wow what a unit. Really well made, sturdy extremely easy to use and unlike my large vacuum sealer its small and using it as easy as putting on a jar lid. The vacuum was extremely strong. To test product I cut up lettuce and also English cucumbers used sealer and after a week the produce is still fresh. This product is good for seniors that don't go thru groceries quickly. Just take in account you will need mason jars and lids, but the lids on Amazon 48 lids for $18 not bad when your not tossing out groceries. Also this product has a better seal and does both size mason jars.

These were great for sealing widemouth jar lids. I’m not sure why they don’t do an equally good job and regular size jar lids. When I do the widemouth, they just drop on beautifully and work. The regular mouth jars you kinda have to fill it with a little bit. I would recommend this product, regardless as I do believe it’s well-made, and I mostly use widemouth jars. I’ll point out two things that are important. If this product is new to you. First, pay careful attention to the lock, and unlock symbol on the side of the unit. In order to get to the widemouth function, you have to fairly strongly twist the unit to separate it. Aways make sure you have it lined up correctly when you’re going to go back to the regular mouth. If you have to remove the regular mouth, rubber gasket, make sure you have it lined up correctly in the notches. If you don’t have it lined up correctly, you will get an air leak. The unit didn’t come pre-charged to a certain degree so I was able to do several jars before having to give it its initial charge, I suspect that the regular jar lids function might need to be slightly tweaked by the manufacturer to make it work as nice as it does with the widemouth jars. Again, I would highly recommend this product. Also, in the event of a disaster and loss of power. I keep a brake bleeder handy with, the tops that food saver sells. It’s just a good back up plan. Remember, the emergency preparedness adage two is one and one is none.

This thing is the BOMB!!! It seals things perfectly and saves so much money by keeping them fresh way longer than they would normally!! If anything ever happens to this one I will definitely be purchasing another one!!!

I love this vacuum sealer so much I bought a second one for our travel trailer. I use it every day to seal up freeze dried or dehydrated fruits and veggies for smoothies, sealing up jars full of crackers, chips or whatever I seal in half gallon jars. The new one is even better than the original as it turns off automatically when it's done vacuum sealing. It usually takes 40-60 seconds to seal and turn off. The battery lasts a long time and it's very easy to recharge.

It seems like I buy broccoli and then it sets and never get to use it for a couple weeks so this time I put it in a jar and used the mason jar sealer I haven’t eaten it but it sure still looks nice and fresh!

Works well to extend shelf life of perishables. You have to experiment; some things, like cucumbers, don't do well. adding a coffee filter or piece of paper towel absorbs any excess moisture. Use it for vegetables, greens and nuts, leftovers. Good value, saves waste, and motivates me to prepare food in advance so it's quick to use when I don't have time later. The little "key" to open dents the lids too much so I use the edge of the spoon.

Gave this to my daughter in law. She uses it to vacuum seal fresh herbs. She seems to like it and says there is no downside to using it.

Mason jar la machine pour emballer sous vide. Ça fonctionne bien mais deux problèmes 1- ne celle pas longtemps se décolle et fini par tomber si on l'accroche avec une main ou simplement en déplaçant le pot. Peut être que l'anneau est obligatoire donc ça veux dire pas cellier tout à fait. 2- peut fonctionner que sur le sec seulement.

Love this product, bought more for gifts to my daughters

Does what it is supposed to do. Have had no issues. Good for small jobs.
