Amtech C0100 Mini Pipe Cutter

Not impressed
Spend the money on a spring loaded one that you can keep turning as this is a bit of a pain to use. Cutting steel pipes needs a wrench to keep adding a quarter turn as the thumb wheel isn't big enough to grip in use, for kunifer it works a bit better but I expect it will be best for copper pipe. The other issue is the wheel isn't fixed well resulting in the odd time when you try and cut a pipe leading to it cutting a spiral, in the end Amazon refunded me and I threw it in the bin buying the Sealey VS0350.

Good for price, weak on 22mm copper
Does the job but the knurled pressure screw is too small to easily apply the pressure needed on 22mm copper. I'd always use a bigger cutter unless space was so cramped than only the little one could be used

Not fit for the job
not really pleased with this item cutting 15mm copper pipes. The idea is good but the chances for it to work properly are slim.Been struggling to get it to work properly so ended up purchasing a proper pie cutter

A great little tool
An excellent little pipe cutter which replaced a similar one I had for 20years. Not for a main stream plumber but good for those occasional pipe cutting jobs.

Tiny and easy to use!
Bought this as it was the cheapest on the market... For it's size and price it's incredible! We used it for a ensuite project at home and was amazingly simple even for someone who's never done anything like that before! Cuts precisely and quickly! And is small enough to just stick in your pocket!

Not Fit For Purpose
Bought 2 of these. Cannot get either of them to give a proper cut in 15mm copper pipe. Tried them on plastic pipe. They did cut through the pipe but it took ages. I won't be using them again.
