Love this Onion Keeper! Even in a dimly lit refrigerator, you can instantly spot your leftover onion! It is made of hard plastic and does NOT retain onion odor. I wash it in the dishwasher - top rack - and it cleans up fine.

This is functional, easy to use, and easy to clean, it does the job. It is a little slippery at times for my grip but that's a personal thing specific to me.

The Ortarco Onion Keeper is great; it's sealed and airtight. If the Ortarco Garlic Keeper were also sealed and airtight, it would also be great—but it's not, thanks to its large ventilation holes. Keeping peeled garlic cloves in the fridge requires having a sealed, airtight container—which it is not. Pro tip: Garlic bulbs and unpeeled cloves are best kept outside the fridge, in porous, moisture-absorbing terracotta—not plastic! I truly hope Ortarco changes its Garlic Keeper design to make it fridge-friendly! The misrepresentation was a letdown.
