Polti Vaporella 505 Pro, Steam Iron with Boiler

This is the second one of this particular model I have bought. I dropped the first one on a concrete floor and it developed a leak (at least five years old at that point). Didn't hesitate in choosing the same model as it works well, is a powerful steam generator, runs for approx.1.5hrs if using steam for every item ironed, very pleased with it. Arrived on time, came complete with filling funnel and sample of descaler.

Brilliant, nice weight, not too heavy, love the cork handle and the steam function is amazing! It has not leaked!

This iron is easy to use. Lightweight, reliable, steam power is sufficient to steam clothes in a vertical position. Perfect for home and small workshops for tailors. A special pad allows sliding and distribution of steam over the entire surface of the iron. There is a button for regulating the power of constant steam supply and a button for supplying steam when necessary. It is very important. The steam cord from the boiler to the iron is quite long. There are no disadvantages.

I loved my steam generator iron, which I had for 2 years, but last week ready to do my ironing after i filled my steamer full of water and switched it on , it’s just leeks all the water through the bottom of the generator, socks my carpet, I have to abandon my ironing, very disappointed, I missed it so much it was the best iron I ever owned.

Very disappointed in the product and Amazon help line. The product itself has been giving me troubles. After 3 months the steam created dirty brown colour and ruined my clothes while I pressed steam function. Another problem is, the product isn't working as it promises. My clothes still pretty much wrinkled and on top.of that I had to spend a long time to finish just a couple of my laundry. I understand it will be happened to those type of ironing at some point but not too soon like this in 3 months? I have given it too many chances already but it getting worse.

I love this iron !! I’ve had a steam generator iron for years, normally a Russel Hobbs one but as the years have gone on, the quality has got worse so I decided to change brands. I’m not disappointed at all. The iron has a good quality feel and makes ironing an absolute pleasure. My top tips would be to make sure the iron has been on for a few minutes before ironing and make sure the water compartment is full before ironing. Unfortunately there is no gauge so I just put 900ml in and stop ironing when it’s finished although you could easily carry on ironing just without the steam. The steam easily lasts for a couple of loads at a time. I’ve got two children so we have a lot of ironing. The steam is excellent. Don’t hesitate with this . It’s amazing !

Great steamer, quite light to use. Generates a good amount of steam without drips.
