Review: Great iron. - As usual I reviewed irons online before purchasing this one. I'm delighted with my purchase. This iron speeds through the ironing as good as any steam generator iron I've used, producing great results. It's a good balanced weight, neither too heavy nor too light. The cable is a good length unlike iron brands that seem to be skimping costs with short cables. The water tank is large, so less refilling required. A well designed and good looking iron that almost makes ironing a pleasure! If I have one slight negative it is possible to move the temperature dial with you hand as you pick up the iron, a slightly firmer control dial would avoid this issue. Would definitely recommend. Review: Best iron ever - Best iron,I have ever had. Good looking. Great quality. Easy ironing,I normally hate ironing, but now I don't mind, because it's so easy with the Braun Ts745a texStyle iron. No dripping, easily glides over wrinkled and creased bed linen and cotton shirts. The handle is comfortable to hold,it has a good , heavy weight, the water spout is wider than most irons,so no water spills over. The cord is longer than our previous iron,it heats up really fast, the steam is continuous and the design makes it easy to get into hard to reach places. Actually I can't find any fault with this iron, very happy with my purchase.πŸ‘β™₯οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ™‚ ## Features - ELOXAL SOLEPLATE: Braun's best gliding soleplate, provides extraordinary glide-ability to accelerate the ironing process 15 t-shirts ironed in just 30 minutes so no more laundry piles - POWERFUL STEAM: Variable steam 50 g/min and steam shot up to 200 g/min even vertically - ideal for removing creases in curtains and clothes - AUTO SHUT-OFF: After 8 minutes in a vertical position or 30 seconds in a horizontal position the iron shuts off for maximum safety and energy saving - HIGH PERFORMANCE: This iron can handle any fabrics and is powerful thanks to the 2400 W of power output - PRECISION TIP: Brings powerful steam up to 50% closer to the tip of the iron where you need it - easy work of tricky areas like around buttons and on different fabrics ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00EW49AVK | | Base Material | Metal | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,306,424 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 338 in Steam Irons | | Brand | Braun | | Brand Name | Braun | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 2,881 Reviews | | Frequency | 50 Hz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08021098270085 | | Item Type Name | Braun TexStyle 7 TS745A Steam Iron - Black | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Manufacture Year | 2013 | | Manufacturer | Braun | | Model Name | TS745A | | Model Number | TS745A | | Model Year | 2013 | | Model name | TS745A | | Model year | 2013 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | 0X12711030 | | Product Warranty | 2. | | Special Features | Automatic Shut Off and Vertical Steam shot | | Special feature | Automatic Shut Off and Vertical Steam shot | | Style | Safety | | Voltage | 220 | | Wattage | 2400 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Braun - **Colour:** Black - **Model name:** TS745A - **Special feature:** Automatic Shut Off and Vertical Steam shot - **Wattage:** 2400 watts ## Images ![Braun TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50g/min Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5m cord - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ZcEO+LuGL.jpg) ![Braun TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50g/min Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5m cord - Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hjBea90eL.jpg) ![Braun TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50g/min Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5m cord - Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719MXsrOI1L.jpg) ![Braun TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50g/min Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5m cord - Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jm+rSZGeL.jpg) ![Braun TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50g/min Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5m cord - Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61br3HS-3VL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this iron take tap water please?** A: Yes - I've been putting tap water in for several years and it still works fine. **Q: what is the electrical voltage required** A: 220 - 240 volts - standard UK output. Hope this helps. **Q: Do i have a faulty casing? Does anyone else get a sore thumb form the roughness at the top where the spray nozzles fit into the iron but doesn't prope** A: I don't have any problems **Q: What is the cord like is it hard wearing because my other iron the cord started splitting?** A: The cord appears to be hard wearing. The iron I have in Spain I’ve had for 3 years and it’s like new, and I use the iron often. The iron I have in the UK is relatively new but hopefully will be as reliable. Good large tank meaning it irons for quite ... *by M***W on 4 April 2017* Exactly as described. Arrived on time and boy does it shift the ironing pile! Flattens creases in one go making sheets, shirts etc very easy. Good large tank meaning it irons for quite a while before needing a refill. Also puts out plenty of steam. This is the first time I have spent so much on an iron usually going for the Β£40 price range but the last few I have tried only last about 1 year then stop steaming making the ironing time a lot longer. I'm hoping by spending more I won't have that problem but time will tell. Certainly gives a very good 1st impression though ## Frequently Bought Together - Braun House Hold,1 - Pack,0X12711030 TS745A TexStyle 7 Steam Iron with Anti-Scratch Eloxal Soleplate, 50 g/Minute Variable Steam, Auto Shut-Off, 2400 W, 2.5 m Cord - Black - Vileda Rapid Ironing Board Cover - Vileda Park and Go Ironing Board Cover, 172219 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/49050701-braun-ts745a-texstyle-7-steam-iron-with-anti-scratch-eloxal](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/49050701-braun-ts745a-texstyle-7-steam-iron-with-anti-scratch-eloxal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
