We have been using these boots for years but I dont feel that I can report on what could be considered as normal wear and tear. Our lab cross has three legs and a prosthesis and because we live in the 'boonies` of southern Portugal we have to protect the prosthesis from unusual wear and tear to say the least,so she wears a boot on it all the time. All I really can say is that she wears the tread down to the minimum and it is so much easier to replace a boot every few months than a prosthesis. They do take some punishment and are durable, on that basis only I can recommend. A bit pricey though for the size of them.

Sadly, absolutely rubbish!Not happy at all. Purchased to protect paws after surgery. Measured carefully. Fit fine but come off every time even with a slow walk.I purchased these thinking that since they cost more than the others that they would be better quality.Not at all.My advice is not to buy these. You might as well save your money as you probably won’t get any worse elsewhere.

Delivered in good time & condition, the products are made from top material and look as good as the marketing pictures...BUT I can’t help but feel disappointed by a product that isn’t fit for its purpose. Bought the right size for our German Shepherd, but they don’t stay on his paws. They don’t seem to be shaped well enough to get fully into his feet, and definitely don’t go far enough into his leg, so he can just kick or flick them off and we’re left to walk in the hot sun of Oman.

I have a 9 year old Golden Retriever with Arthritis in his front toes. Prior to buying the boots he struggled to walk on shingle & the road & limped quite badly. Since purchasing his boots he has a new lease of life ! They have a tread similar to a trainer and provide the required cushioning & padding . They don’t seem to bother him and he doesn’t ever try to remove them . In my opinion they are value for money, & he’s brought out his inner puppy again!They are NOT waterproof , and having been in the sea, one did come off but I suspect that it was the weight of the water that entered the boot . All in all , I’d recommend them . They were also endorsed by my vet .

Before these, I ordered 2 other brands of dog shoes. The first were solid, second pair worn through after 4 walks. With fingers crossed I ordered this pair. Brilliant fitting, brilliant quality and my dog likes them. He is a Labrador unfortunately old before his time and in need of these shoes to save his paws. These shoes are worth every penny and if your considering shoes you must buy these. They are easy to put on, practical, not garish, dry well. Thank you Ruff wear.

I had to buy in two pairs for one dog as her feet are different - and it was fantastic I could get them delivered in one day. They are perfect and once I tightened them enough they stayed on during her playing fetch. Great product. Oh and the hilarious way she walked the first time as if on the moon!!! Well worth it for the giggle!

We bought these boots for our 6 month old cockapoo after he was diagnosed with an autoimmune paw condition. We bought two to start with just to try them as they were quite expensive. They have been amazing. Our puppy has never been able to do a proper walk before and on his first walk with them managed a 5 mile cliff walk over rock terrain. He was a bit clumsy at first and face-planted a few times but soon got used to them. We bought the second pair for his back paws that day! So pleased and thank you to ruffwear for giving us walks with our puppy!

Bought these as our dog had split his pad. I liked them, and he certainly seemed happier with them with the cheaper version he had previously, but we did have a couple of times of them coming off on walks, which was disappointing for the price paid.
