Works very well for making custom filters, or replacing old ones. The magnets are pretty strong, and although they could be stronger, the filter doesn't slide around easily unless you force it. Extremely easy to cut and fabricate with great airflow and dust filtration. I honestly wasn't sure what size mesh I needed, but this is the sweet-spot. Especially considering the computer was on carpet in the same room as the cat's litter box. It had everything going against it, but it proved worthy!

I purchased this product because my new PC didn't come with any dust filters. It was a relatively easily installation, however some instructions would certainly have been helpful. One side is smoother than then the other and so one of the sides is meant to collect dust while the other one is meant to face inwards. This mesh has done a great job at collecting dust as I have been routinely dusting it off with a dust Swiffer. You simply measure what size you need and then cut it to the correct dimensions carefully attacking the magnetic strip to the perimeter of the grid filter. The material is durable yet easy to cut through, I would recommend using seizors. The magnetic adhesive is very sticky which is a good thing because you don't want the strips falling off the mesh after you attach it on. The only thing I'd change about this product is: #1 Certainly needs some instruction on putting it together as simple as it may seem. #2 Include some more of the magnetic strips because if I was to use the other grid, I wouldn't have enough of the magnetic strips to go around the perimeter of the mesh. Besides those two minor inconveniences I certainly think this is a great, quality product and in case you are wondering I didn't receive this product for free; these are my honest opinions (is they were negative I would certainly let you know that as well). Works great to cover up areas that glass panels used to cover. HP OMEN 40L. 2 pack worked and have some extra. Buying a new glass cover is almost 200 now so this is great as a longer term fix vs other alternatives. Easy set up.

does the job i guess but It does restrict a good but of airflow coming from the cooling fan in my xbox (not as fine mesh). I blew on it, held it to a fan and it barely let any air through so I’m worried a xbox or any electronics with a system fan might overheat.

Lo primero de todo, en la foto aparece de color negro el filtro, me ha llegado en color blanco, pero como mi ordenador es todo negro y tenía un spray de pintura negra que me sobraba, pues lo pinté de negro para que no desentonara con mi pc. El material es de buena calidad, lo puedes recortar del tamaño que quieras porque se presenta en forma de dos láminas grandes de 40cmx30cm y son muy fáciles de cortar, lo mismo ocurre con las bandas magnéticas, que parecen sujetar bien la lámina incluso en posición vertical. Los filtros funcionan bien, el polvo permanece en los filtros aunque a veces los orificios me parezcan un poco grandes (pero de lo contrario, la refrigeración no sería efectiva). No he notado un aumento de temperatura de momento, aunque es habitual que cuando se acumule bastante polvo aumente, así que siempre recomiendo limpiarlos al menos una vez al mes. Los recomiendo.

Bardziej jest to siatka przeciw śmieciom i owadom niż pyłowi - ma spore otworki, jak na kurz. Owad i okruchy zatrzyma, pyłu i kurzu nie bardzo. Dość sztywna i daje się kształtować i ten kształt trzyma. Jest też statyczna - pył i drobinki się do niej kleją, co też zatrzymuje wnikanie. Czy kupił bym drugi raz? Na filtr kurzowy, nie bardzo.

I bought this mesh sheet to use as a filter when installing new front fans for an added 280mm radiator. The pack includes several mesh sheets and a sheet of self-adhesive magnetic strips - a nice touch for custom setups. I originally planned to modify the door on my Fractal Design R6 case to improve airflow, but after fitting this mesh, I’m actually happy enough to leave the door off entirely. The fit and finish are excellent. It’s easy to cut with a Stanley knife and straight edge, or scissors for fiddly bits. My only wish is that it came in a size about 5cm longer - that would’ve made placement even easier. While it’s not a very fine filter, that suits my setup just fine. My PC isn’t in a particularly dusty environment, and I’ve found it does a good job catching fluff from garden plants and other debris on the outside. For my use case, it’s doing a great job.
