Can you daisy chain these ?

Daisy chain? Like any other light fitting these can be wired into the same ring and of course as they are very low wattage (amperage) you would be able to have many more fittings on the same ring. They are very easy to fit and are good light fittings. However, if you feel you are unsure that you have the necessary experience I would recommend asking someone who has. Hope that helps.

How long is the connecting flex? Is it the very short @100mm like so many others needing a connector almost immediately behind the unit?

Hello i did not fit the light but the flex is definitely longer than 100mm and the electrician did not say he needed to put a connector in, they are in my cellar and the lighting is excellent now

Do these have to be wired in the lighting circuit or plugged into a socket? I need to work out where they are going so how many I would need.

The battens need to be wired into the lighting circuit. They don’t have very long leads, but that shouldn’t be a problem. They give a good strong light, and come on immediately they are switched on. I am very pleased with them.

Hi are these class 2 double insulated

As they are mainly made of plastic, they do not need a seperate earth wire
