Lately Sensodyne seems to be relying on potassium nitrate to numb sensitive teeth and no longer has the calcium carbonate (which you can add by chewing up a calcium pill, & it does seem chalky until you spit/rinse, which is exactly the point & you can keep a favorite flavor). Another customer asked about this brand in bulk but, as I read that earlier question, it seemed that the bulk purchase was of unboxed tubes at a bargain price. I never touch a product out of its sealed packaging.
