Miracle cure for bionic dogs!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Nothing short of miraculous. We have two German Shorthaired Pointer puppies - I say puppies but they're nearly 30kg each and pull like tug boats. Our first usage of the Halti earlier today was the most enjoyable walk for us since they were tiny things. The older dog (Axl, on the right) clearly hated it at first, and in between the first placement and getting the neck sizing correct bit halfway through one of the straps but that's my fault not the product. He's lively at the best of times :-)He tried repeatedly to remove it during the first half of the walk - i found the best way to prevent this was to hold the lead quite upright rather than having too much slack and to move forward gently rather than stopping. This leaves less space for him to try and get his paw up to his muzzle and he's forced to put his paw back on the floor.Jax, the younger dog took to it more or less immediately. It had been more or less impossible for either of us to walk both dogs simultaneously - this is also now possible. After 400+ 5 star reviews perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised how effective this is but it's nothing short of miraculous and at £13 for two, a bargain too.

After 30 seconds She walked beside me knowing i was now in charge of the walk and I'm sure she was very happy knowing it
Just got back from my first walk with the Halti on my GSD , why oh why had i not bought one of these years ago ??? . No pulling, no aching arms and shoulder .After 30 seconds She walked beside me knowing i was now in charge of the walk and I'm sure she was very happy knowing it . our usual 30 minute stressed out walk turned out to be a enjoyable hour and a half pleasure . I can not but praise this headcollar and would recommend to any other dog owner who has a pulling problem. she took straight to it and never once tried to get it off.

Life changing
I had my doubts this would work. Being at my wits end with my Doberman. I found I always had to drive places so he could be off the lead because walking him was just hard bloody work! He’s massive and strong so it was a battle. He was always so boosted and excited to be out. We had previously had a harness, collar and other things but no matter how much we tried to get him to not pull with treats and training it wasn’t working. He was far too excited about where he was going.Finding out I was pregnant and it resulting in some days where my dog was not being walked in the fear he would pull me over... i felt awful and I New I had to do something now! I contacted a few “dog trainers” who unfortunately didn’t get back to me so I thought I can do this myself.YouTubing videos for training dogs not to pull I came across this method the face halti harness like this. The video are great and show you how to desensitise your dog and make the head halti a positive to your dog and was littially life changing... it was not easy at first but my dobe is a bright bread that learns fast. He picked it up in one walk. He still to this day tries to get it off sometimes and rubs he face on my leg occasionally but I can’t not stress enough that this lead made my walking my dog on a lead experience better than ever!I’ve managed to walk him so much through out my pregnancy and safely and means no driving to someone safe to let him burn off energy we can happily and safely walk around the streets or wherever we like. Spoke to many others about this method of lead training and everyone says the same. life changing.100% recommend to anyone who’s dog does pulls on the lead. I’m so grateful for it I found this happy dog and happy owner!

I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THESE HALTI COLLARS AGES AGO!
Thinking about buying one for your dog...? Do it! You will not regret it! Here's how I know...We have a Weimaraner and a Dalmatian - two very energetic and incredibly strong dogs. They prefer to run free and not be tethered to slow moving humans, so I'm sure you can imagine the nearly eight-year nightmare we've had trying to walk them. We've had all kinds of expensive anti-pull harnesses and many sessions with trainers and behaviourists but nothing has worked... until now. I wasn't sure about the Halti to be honest. I had seen some dogs with the strap almost covering their eyes, other dogs with their heads bowed low and I just thought they were so unhappy with these headcollars on them.I had watched the video of another Amazon shopper with his two GSPs walking calmly so I figured I would try. The right size and fit for both of my dogs was the 3 and getting the right size is important (full guide on the Halti page) - it doesn't come anywhere near their eyes, the soft padding doesn't dig into them at all, the collar is lightweight, the adjustable strap means it's not restrictive around their heads and their response and reaction to wearing these collars was instant. They weren't even slightly stressed, no pulling or yanking, just an easy and calm walk. The first in nearly eight years! WHY DIDN'T WE BUY THESE SOONER!The collars are so easy to put on, too. There is a little booklet, so just follow the instructions and you're sorted. It's like playing the snoot challenge but better because there's exercise too. The only thing I have noticed is as soon as we get home, they both want the collar off and now - so I unclip around the head first and then off the collar. We now love going for walks and exploring with the dogs. The leash unclips so the headcollar stays on (attached to their own collars and around their heads, so it can't come off), but doesn't restrict movement in any way so they can run free and explore whenever we get to the park and let them off leash to run. Leash clips back on and we are calmly and happily on our way home again. These Halti headcollars have literally been a life saver for our whole family. An exercised dog is a tired dog, a tired dog is a happy dog and a happy dog makes for a happy home! Thank you Halti! If there were more than five stars, I'd be giving them!
