Does anyone use this as their main disinfectant/cleaner for gas permeable lenses? How do you use? Just 5 mins soaking? Thanks!

I use it only as a wetting agent and overnight storage. For cleaning I use Ote Cleaner (cleaning only, keep away from eyes). rinsed off with Saline at night, then store in Menicare in my container overnight, rinse in the morning with Saline and put on a drop of Menicare for inserting into my eyes.

Does Menicare Plus remove protein?

It does to some extent. I use Ote Cleaner for cleaning my gas permeable lenses when I take them out in the evening. This is the most effective cleaner, but you must NOT use it as a wetting agent for putting your lenses in. It is for cleaning only! Rinse thoroughly with Saline after use, then store lenses in Menicare Plus . I also use Menicare for a quick clean and for putting the lenses in.

What’s the difference between menicare pure and plus?

They are same pure is just new one and you can buy booth for thé moment

Polyhexamethylene biguinade 0.005% Poloxamer 0.5%. Hypromellose 0.275 % Hope that helps. I’ve worn rigid/gp lenses for 45 years. This is simply the best solution I’ve experienced.
