Great value single punch
I disliked trying to see where the hole would fall when using my two hole punch, so decided to get a single one for making tags etc. This does exactly what it says. I've not tried to punch multiples at a time so not sure how strong it would be there, but great for single sheets and precision.

Good solid punch
I have used this paper punch for punching out several dozen holes in aluminium cat food tins for making DIY spirit-burner stoves. To give you an idea of what the punch is capable of, these cans are considerably thicker than an aluminium fizzy drinks can. It really is a substantial bit of kit, which punched out the last few holes in the tins with the same ease as the first - like a knife through butter. The punch has gone slightly out of alignment after such rough treatment, but it still punches holes with no problems. To see if this abuse of intended function had destroyed its paper cutting ability, I tried punching holes in 8 layers of photocopy paper and it's still cutting cleanly. I wasn't expecting it to last half this long. Great value.

A single hole punch - good price, decent quality and quick delivery
A single hole punch - good price, decent quality and quick delivery. Haven't used it for long as received it only 2 days ago but so far so good. Giving it 4 stars because it feels a bit stiff. However, it punches holes without problem through various thickness of paper, including 1.5mm foamiran and fairly thick glitter cards. I might amend my rating to 5 stars if the punch continues to do the job without breaking within the first 2-3 weeks.

Cuts a clean hole
Cuts a sharp, clean hole, in card and in plastic (plastic bag, that is), rather than leave the cutout piece still tagged like my old punch used to.

workable for occasional use
These work but are not overly sharp and I only cut 1 standard A4 printer thickness paper at a time. They work and punch a whole but I wouldn't want to have to use them for a big project. They are a little hard to use.

Really good
It was very cheap but extremely sharp so cut the holes perfectly

BUY THIS AT YOUR PERIL!!!!!!
From other reviews seems the quality of this product is very hit and miss..... Made of aluminium the frame buckles easily and once misaligned its useless. I used it three or four times on paper and up to 6 sheets thick (manufacture standard) - One sheet fine more than three and even my husband had difficulty punching the holes. It has a jaw to collect the waste underneath and even that is difficult to empty as it is so small and was stuck on the nipple joint and really difficult to put back. The annoying thing about the design is the underneath is rounded not flat. So you cannot use a flat surface to help you postion the paper before you squeeze. I really really regret buying this product and suggest as the quality is sooooooooooooo hit and miss you do too buy it locally if you want to but not on Amazon........Unfortunately you will spend more in postage than what you pay for the item and none of the postage is refundable on a return basis...... so use it three times and you'll be throwing it away!FIND A Stainless steel one!

'Terrific!' I used to think.
I was tremendously exuberant in the wait for my hole puncher, which arrived 1 out 3 days early! Of course, I had to punch some holes right away- I could barely wait! I squeezed the grippy metal and punched two holes into my paper! So far, so good. But surely, it could only go downhill from here. I opened the confetti catcher to safely recycle my two paper circles: it fell open with a great 'CLACLACK'. And to my despair, when I tried to replace the confetti catcher, it simply would not sit! Nothing a weathered pair of pliers and an extra pair of hands couldn't fix. We tightened the confetti catcher, however, it still fell open on its next assignment. "Tis no matter," I said aloud, "Whoever needed a confetti catcher!"After a while more punching, I decided to put this little hole puncher to the test. It claimed it could punch 6 sheets at a time... so why not 10?Despite my greatest efforts, this was too vast and job for my hole puncher, now fondly know as 'Clive'.I would definitely recommend this extremely affordable hole puncher, although, it does tend to make quite the racket, so probably not best for any late-night hole punching- unless you wish to awaken your neighbours!Edit: i changed my mind. 2 stars instead of 4. Clive is not very good and is very stiff. It jams every time I punch a hole :( Fork out a little extra cash and buy a better one
