Step2 Lakewood Mailbox and Post Kit, Standard Size, Weather-Resistant Resin, Magnetic Door, Newspaper Holder, Black/Brown

This was a bit of a challenge to put together. There are a lot of screws somewhat like an Ikea project. As many pilot holes you can make will save time outside. The mailbox itself is a good size a lot bigger than I expected. If you look up the new postal requirements for position and height it is perfect. We put this plant bracket on the back and hung a solar light on it. FEED GARDEN 10 Inch Hanging Plant Bracket It looks classy! Great purchase. We used the Mayne No Dig Ground Anchor with Lag Bolts and Rebar, instead of placing the post in the soil.

Easy to install, easy to read instructions. Oversized box is nice to have for smaller packages to fit in. I love the option of adding a plant hangar on the back. Looks very nice. Review the instructions for proper measurements before purchasing the post for it.

Beautiful arrangement! I love how it turned out. My son added a flower box and cement around the post. Only thing I miss is the back door, but I had problems in severe weather with losing mail, so it is probably best without it. Box is bigger than average. Overall sturdy and happy with it.

A little tricky to assemble but like the size, look and sturdiness of the mailbox.

This is a BIG mailbox. I mean, REALLY big and spacious! To give you an idea, two healthy adult cats climbed into the mailbox together and took a nap while my husband was assembling the post! It's made by Step2, a reliable brand I know from my kids being small and purchasing their plastic toys. We wanted to make it more convenient for our mail carrier to deliver our occasionally abundant packages, and this mailbox fits the bill! You have to purchase your own 4x4 post to go inside the plastic post, and it seems very sturdy now that it's assembled. The door is held closed securely with a magnet, but it doesn't lock. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to understand. So far, we are very pleased with our purchase, and our mail and packages are not crushed due to being crammed into a smaller mailbox. The first photo is the new box with our neighbors' boxes, which are all slightly larger than a standard residential mailbox. The second photo is the assembled box and post without the 4x4, and my husband is 5'3".

This mailbox is huge. Too big for what I needed but a great product for those that do need one this big.

Very good quality and sharp looking. Instructions were a little hard to understand. It says '2 people recommended', I did this alone. It was easy to install once I figured it out. You will need to purchase a 4x4 treated lumber and install it in concrete. It doesn't come with reflectors, I would recommend purchasing them. It's very nice and I would definitely buy this again.
