Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream, 30 ml

I bought this lovely cream as a day moisturiser as I wanted something which wasn't too expensive but that had all natural ingredients. After using it for the past fortnight I feel like my skin is more hydrated and feels nice and plump when I apply it. It is free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, and mineral oil derivatives. It is lighter than skin food Weleda Skin Food 75ml and the nighttime moisturiser Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream 30ml as you would expect. It is designed for dry skin so be careful if you are looking for something light which would be suited more to oily or combination skin. The ingredient list includes: Water (Aqua), Alcohol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunus Persica (Peach) Kernel Oil, Glycerin, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil, Glyceryl Oleate, Copernica Cerifera (Carnuba) Wax, Beeswax (Cera Flava), Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Sedum Purpureum Extract, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Rosa Damascena Flower Wax, Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract, Commiphora Myrrha Extract, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Sodium Beeswax, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Limonene*, Linalool*, Citronellol*, Benzyl Alcohol*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Farnesol*. *from natural essential oils. All in all a lovely product at a very reasonable price.

This face cream is as good as the more expensive creams you can buy, it’s quite thick & smells just lovely . Would definitely buy again

Again not my preference for smell- I prefer others from weleda. However a good moisturiser and doesn't make your skin greasy looking.

I'd buy this for the scent alone, which is absolutely lush! Rose oil is excellent for mature skin which has lost a little of its natural oils and become dry. This lotion smooths and plumps, giving a soft and nourished feel; I could literally feel my skin 'drinking' it in. The rose scent is delightful and used in aromatherapy for soothing not just skin but frazzled nerves, so with this cream you get a mini spa treatment every time you apply it. This doesn't offer any sun screening properties so you'd have to use an SPF over the top but if, like me, you're stuck indoors during lockdown, this won't be necessary. It's pricey but then so is natural rose absolute, which this contains, so you are getting your moneys' worth. I'd absolutely recommend this as a mother's day gift or a treat for any woman in need of some pampering. It should be suitable for sensitive skin and those with normal to dry and mature skin types.

Weleda is a classic company and well respected. This is a pleasant cream and pretty simple. It does the trick without any frills and simple packaging. It's expensive for what you get however and I would certainly consider using a serum underneath (if you don't already use one) because it doesn't really do much beyond hydrate the skin which is not enough for the environmental challenges we face on a daily basis. Smells nice and absorbs well but very basic.

I have used this cream for 9 years and I can honestly say, its quality is still very high and I have never been disappointed. It is a heavenly scented soft cream. It feels a bit greasy at the beginning but it is quickly absorbed and it leaves the skin smooth and ready for the make up. I know ladies who complain that for 30ml the price is a bit too high, but I can assure the money is well spent. I only need a pea size of this cream and I do not need any additional serum or other products, so it is cost effective and it lasts a long time. On the plus side, it is a natural product, free from silicones, parabens and other chemicals. It's a brilliant product and I will keep using it until my skin requires something different.

Absolutely love this product! I only bought it because the online description said "Excellent to use under make up".That is precisely what I needed and you have no idea how hard it is to find a face moisturizer that explicitly states that! When I opened the box it came in I was (unpleasantly) surprised by how tiny the cream is - 30 ml. really is not a lot. However, having been using it everyday for over 2 weeks I can say its worth the price (£10.99 when I bought it in November 2015), even for that tiny amount. There were explicit instructions included in the box (see pictures attached) - I found these very useful.On the down side - the cream does have a slight scent to it, which some might not like, but I find its rather pleasant, so I am not bothered by it. On the plus side - the cream absorbs entirely within 10 minutes of application. It gives a nice glow to the skin (without the need to use any other make up). It has a very thick consistency, so a little goes a long way. I find for most coverage it's best to apply it in circular, blending motions with your warm fingertips. The cream does not irritate my sensitive skin. It leaves my face fully moisturized and prevents any rough patches from appearing (even when I wear full powered foundation/blush/bronzer/highlighter for 10+ hours a day). So, basically it does what I bought it for 100% and so I feel happy to recommend this product to others :)

The smell is way too obtrusive and I got red spots from it. YUCK.

I use this every day. It definitely works to reduce fine lines and give the skin a moisturized radiance with no greasy feel. Smells lovely too. Small but lasts me for about 3 months. Highly recommend.

Lo empecé a usar desde hace unos años, la marca Weleda es una maravilla. Todos sus productos son buenísimos, especialmente para la piel más sensible o la que necesitas más cuidado. Siempre pillo varios en oferta. Me deja la piel limusina, hidratada y su olor natural sorprende.

Delicatamente profumata alla rosa. Morbida, cremosa, si stende bene, una coccola. Io ho la pelle sensibile, reattiva, un po mista, non più giovanissima e questa crema me la lascia morbida, idratata e profumata. Magari da alternare con una crema più specifica.
