The plastic stimulators are in the form of 33 tiny spikes that extend from each of the white plastic disks. Each disk and its stimulators are formed from a single piece of plastic.

How long can I lay on it for?

As long as it’s comfortable I would say. Personally I’ve laid on mine for at least a 20 minute meditation.
