My unit will not print on vinyl tape but will on nylon cloth tape. What is going on?

Make sure you have locked the cartridge in after inserting it, and that the black ink reel is full. I did not have any issues switching between Nylon cloth M21-750-499 and Vinyl tape M21-750-427. Also make sure the label you are trying to make will fit on the vinyl label. I am using genuine Brady label cartridges. The chip on the cartridge should set the label maker for you.
