This has been an impressive device so far which I have been using to capture footage from retro games consoles. The picture quality is excellent for such a cheap device and it has been completely reliable so far. I have been using with OBS software and it has been very easy to use even as a beginner.

really great for the price. works well in OBS, though now you have to add it manually as an audio source, it doesn’t seem to automatically find it — but after that it works great, sound really clear. i use a Mac and stream on Twitch and it’s fine. Video quality is clear.

Bought this to capture video from my DSLR, I had low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Literally just plug & play and immediately able to stream my DSLR footage into my Mac mini. I did an A/B test and recorded the same footage through the capture card and also to the SD card - the capture card footage is much more contrasty and slightly over saturated but this is a pretty easy fix in any video editing software. There is also a latency with the audio but again this is easy enough to fix. For the price it’s unbeatable and I will be returning a much more expensive capture card in favour of this one.

I was looking for a way to use my laptop (2015 Macbook Air) as a monitor for my Xbox 360 and so it was important that the card was easy to set up, had very low latency, and worked for at least 1080p 60Hz. After looking at many other cards, I was worried they would all use the same components under the cover and so buying a slightly more expensive card would not make a difference. However, when I plugged it into my laptop it was instantly recognized as a camera source so I could set up the display using OBS in less than 5 minutes after a quick Google search. Plus, the video quality was amazing, fully using my laptop display without any signs of compression or downscaling from 1080p. I think there was some latency, but I managed to adjust in 30 minutes of playing and now I use it on a daily basis with no issues. I would say it was well worth the money.

I was surprised just how well this worked for the price. When the box arrived it was so small I was a bit doubtful but I just plugged it into a USB 3.0 port and it just worked first time. Using a HDMI adapter on my IPad I've been able to stream HDMI video to my computer straight into OBS studio for editing. Sound and video quality are fine for 1080p output. There is a standard USB to USB C adapter in the box.

First ever review I've written to say this is an absolute god honest waste of time. Works about 5% of the time. Connected to a DSLR. Makes OBS and the camera settings win W11 crash. Tried on two different systems and still an absolute 0/10. Wish I could still return it but took me too long to try it out. Absolutely do not recommend.

Works perfectly on an XP system connected to a Windows 10 pc using OBS STUDIO

It captures video easily but for some reason windows sees it as 'unknown device' for one half and the other as USB 3.0 but with a driver error. Tried all usb slots, flipped the HDMI wire over with my dock to make sure its the right way too. Video captures perfectly fine on OBS but my PC or OBS will not detect any USB/ digital whatever new driver for microphone input to hear my Switch 1. I've tried everything, every tutorial, every search and still can't find how to get the audio to actually appear as an option including trying to change the capture audio sources for the video capture itself too instead of an audio channel (which neither still show anything on there) it's a shame because I really don't have the money to keep trying to find what will work. Not all awful though because of the fact video works fine, audio just isn't finding itself.

I got this to connect my Meta Quest 3 and it works really well. The video quality is clear and I haven't had any lag issues during use. What I really like is that it has a female HDMI input rather than being built into an HDMI cable. This means I can swap out different HDMI cables as needed instead of being stuck with one attached cable. Much more flexible setup. The dual USB ports (A and C) are convenient and the aluminum shell seems well-built. It does get a little warm during use but nothing concerning. The braided cable feels durable too.Setup was plug-and-play - no driver issues. Good capture card that does what it's supposed to do reliably.
