Absolutely fabulous microphone. Professional and high quality. As a professional speaker I use it for everything from virtual calls to online conferences and webinars and the sound quality is spot on.

Let me start by saying I upgraded to the Rode NT-USB+ from a Blue Yeti microphone. Easy to setup. Software is not my personal favourite but works. I personally use this for streaming and gaming - often chatting with friends in discord who have all said it sounds amazing and very professional. Great background noise cancelling and can be quite easily adjusted using software if needed. Uses a USB Type-C cable connection so can even be connected to many newer android phones, PCs, laptops, and other devices with this connection port. Has a headphone jack which can be hooked up for feedback. Aside from this, not really many physical dials on the hardware itself, but lots of features built in that can be adjusted using the software. Love the premium quality pop filter which comes with it. It works well and gives it that professional studio look. It also comes with a great stand that works well and sits at a nice angle but I have mine on a boom arm mount out of personal preference so I can move and adjust it's positioning with easy. Easy to attach to boom arm, no problems there. Definitely worth the price - comparable to many more expensive microphones on the market. Good value for money in my opinion.

So after starting my YouTube channel 5 months ago, one thing that really stood out was poor audio quality, I had previously used the Hyper X S Quadcast mic, which was not only problematic with OBS but also causing issues with low volume. I was becoming increasingly frustrated, so started looking at alternatives, the Rode was a well known brand that seemed a good option. I have been so blown away by the difference, the quality is exceptional not only the build quality but sound quality is absolutely superb, my advice you pay for what you get, yes this is more expensive than many other options but it is exponentially better in every way. It also benefits from needing no additional software and is plug and play, the inclusion of a pop filter is also great, as these are often an optional extra. Really pleased to recommend this amazing product, i’m now going to get the Rode arm to match.

Disappointed in the USB change. They have switched the connector to USB C (which is fine) but provided a double ended USB C cable. Millions of computers and laptops don't have direct USB C ports so it would have been nice for them to have provided a converter. Listing hasn't been updated to reflect this. Still early on with the mic but it seems good quality. Easy to use and setup. A little heavy on an extended arm but not too bad.

Good quality voice recording and solid built

Had it for 2 days and the plastic yoke has already snapped into two pieces. After researching into it I found out that this is a frequent occurrence. Expecting more out of a £145 microphone. Now I have to wait for RODE to send me out a spare part as I can't connect it to my stand.

I’ve been using the Rode NT-USB+ for a while now and it’s one of those products that just gets out of the way and lets you get on with things. Setup took a couple of minutes on my MacBook Pro. Plug it in, select it as the audio source, and you’re ready to go. No audio interface, no complicated configuration, no messing about. The sound quality is excellent for a USB microphone. My voice sounds clear, natural and professional on Zoom calls, webinars, video recordings and podcast-style content. The built-in headphone monitoring is also very useful when recording. Plug a 3.5mm IEM directly into it and you really are monitoring in real-time (also has a monitoring volume dial). Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Rode. It feels solid, well made and like it will last for years. The included pop filter is a nice touch and does a good job of reducing plosives. What I like most is the simplicity. There are more expensive options available, but for anyone creating content, hosting webinars, recording videos or simply wanting to sound more professional online, this does a great job without adding complexity. Pros: * Excellent sound quality * True plug-and-play setup * Solid build quality * USB-C connectivity * Useful headphone monitoring * Works perfectly with Mac Cons: * Picks up room noise more than a dynamic microphone * Takes up a fair bit of desk space - suggest NOT using the stand (which is a bit low anyway - and put it on a boom arm... problem solved! Very solid microphone - comes with everything you might need to start recording your voice etc, and the quality of the recordings are excellent. The microphone is heavy as it does have a lot of metal in it, so if you want to use a boom then make sure it can handle that weight without drooping. The only issue I had with it was the plastic bracket that is used to screw it onto a mount broke - not a huge issue as was able to 3D print a replacement. I judge the quality of equipment not just by the items themselves, but also by how support works. I bought this over a year ago but it was still under its 2 year warranty, and the microphone started cutting in/out randomly. On investigation, it turned out to be a faulty USB-C port. I contacted support and said I was happy to replace the board if they could send/sell me a spare, but they just said to send it to them. Less than five business days later a new microphone turned up, complete with all the accessories including a new bracket. I was super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of my interaction with Rode support, and could not think of a way that they could possibly improve the way they dealt with my issue. So, the main takeaways are - the microphone is excellent, definitely register the device online to ensure you have that 2 year warranty, and if you do need to contact their support then be prepared to be impressed. I was. :-)

Excellent microphone. It's excellent for recording music but also works great for everyday use. Highly recommended if you’re looking for professional sound quality. Delivery was fast and the packaging was secure, so it arrived in perfect condition. Really happy with this purchase.

I was hesitant about it, read some recommendations and decided to buy it, and I am happy with my decision: it offers all the features of expensive devices but at a low cost, it is very light, the sound clarity is high, I can connect it directly to my phone or laptop, I learned to use it quickly and now I have a home studio .
