I purchased this for a couple reasons, the first being to store my photo gear when it isn't in use and the other is to travel with me no matter where I go in a safe manor. In short I can say that it worked brilliantly for both. First of all the case can hold an ungodly amount of gear, and no matter what will always fit in the flight size due to the fact that the walls are solid which is something I appreciate. I have never had any issues traveling and have never been worried about my gear. I have taken it in water and the seals have worked flawlessly. The case can support my weight (70kg) standing on it or sitting when on a shoot which testifies just how good the build quality is. The padded inserts are great, allowing good flexibility when I want to change what I am going to take. They can also be removed when not needed so it can be used for camping in the rain and other such uses which for me was a bonus. I would recommend pairing it with the Lid Organiser however it works great without it also. The only concern I have had when traveling is weight as alone the case weights 6kg however that is rarely and issue and when it is most airlines can be lenient with some persuasion. Mine came with pelicans lifetime warranty giving me the confidence that I am going to be using this for years to come even if I find a way to break something, which is unlikely. Would whole heartily recommend to anyone even considering it.

This is not quite as capacious as it looks from the outside but I've yet to come across a camera case/bag that is. On the plus side is that the thing has an aura of indestructability about it. It's definitely strong enough for me to stand (not jump) on - I currently weigh around 110kg - and the extra few inches of altitude can be quite useful if you're in a crowd or using a tripod set quite high. Try doing that with a squashable bag! As for capacity it will actually take quite a lot of kit. You probably won't get a Nikon or Canon super tele without sawing one end off but a 24-70 and 70/210 f2.8 plus a body or two and some shorter glass stored end-on shouldn't present a problem. The dividers are a better bet than the foam IMHO as a) you can mess about sorting out your ideal configuration and b) they take up less space. The optional lid mounted net storage is a must - albeit its not cheap and a bit of a pain to fit. Due to the integral wheels and handle portability is great as long as the surface you're crossing is reasonably smooth. One day someone will produce a roll-along with all-terrain wheels for air shows and the like but it ain't happened yet. Otherwise the Peli 1510 is an excellent bit of kit - to the extent that I'm mulling getting a second one.

This item is truly as good as the hype surrounding it. It exudes quality in every way. The construction is robust, faultless and well thought out. If like me, you are tired of lugging a large camera backpack then this is a pretty good bet. It's actually a bit smaller than I expected but it forced me to pack smarter and I have no regrets. The handles are very strong and not flimsy at all. It's comfortable enough to carry even fully loaded on the occasions that you won't be able to wheel it. The internal dividers are adjustable obviously and can be repositioned to your own liking. The interior has a padded tray made of the same padded stuff as the dividers, though maybe a bit thicker and is all one (removable) piece. For ages I baulked at the price - but then when you consider the value of what's inside and that it's protecting roughly 30 times it's own value, it starts to make sense. Why would you spend thousands on gear and then not spend a fraction of that on protecting your investment? If you're a pro and you need to look after your kit, then it's a no brainer. This could take a tumble down stone steps and I'd be fairly confident that my kit was protected. Ok, this is starting to sound a bit like an advert but it's really not. Just a few words from a happy customer and I wish I'd bought one years ago. One last thing, it might not matter to some but it really looks the part too. Solid and professional.

This case is of the highest quality, beautifully made and robust beyond all expectations. I have no doubt it will survive the roughest imaginable treatment. It is expensive but then buy cheap buy twice. This case will last a lifetime which means it's excellent value. I note from other reviews that you can stand on it, drop it, immerse it in water and it still protects your kit. Notwithstanding all these qualities, I have just returned it to Amazon. Why? Well, it's not as big inside as I expected and it's too heavy for ordinary use. I'm sure it can go on planes as hand luggage, but when fully loaded with kit, it's oppressively heavy. If I were a professional photographer heading for a desert war zone, this is the case I would want. But, as merely a keen amateur, and despite it's robust excellence, the weight penalty and the relative lack of space inside make it impractical. With some regret, therefore, I have returned it and will replace it with something lighter and a little bigger.

This case has been thrown around, checked into aircraft holds, been kicked and dropped, used as a seat and a step and generally given a serious amount of abuse. Yet it is still unmarked, 100% intact and everything inside is 100% undamaged. This is THE best way of transporting photo gear. It is well designed and capable of carrying a lot of gear (gripped SLRs, big zooms, batteries and accessories. And because of the design you can lash a bicycle chain around a metal post and with a good lock it's pretty impenetrable. It means you can stop worrying and get on with your photography. The padded dividers are a must and well worth the extra. You won't get half as much in with the foam. Highly recommended.

Nonostante le dimensioni "hand luggage" ci ho fatto stare l'indispensabile del corredo foto/video. Se proprio devo fare una nota: non sarebbe male un reparto per il trasporto del MacBook Pro 15". 5 stelle tutte meritate.

Passgenauer kann man Handgepäck nicht machen - und stabiler auch kaum- Der kleine Panzer begleitet mich jetzt schon über 2 Jahre auf Reisen und ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen... Ich bekomme als Mann alles rein, was ich für eine Woche Stadturlaub brauche - also 6x Shirts, 6x Socken, 6x Unterhose plus kleinen Kulturbeutel, ein Paar Sneakers und noch ne Menge anderen Kram dazu. Wer Viele Pullis oder Schuhe transportiert ist hier falsch, denn die Innenmaße von Peli Produkten sind keine Variablen und was nicht passt wird entweder (bis zur Zerstörung) komprimiert oder es passt einfach nicht. Ist die Kiste zu, dann bleibt sie auch zu. Dank der Rollen navigiert das Teil prima durch die Stadt, nur ist es etwas laut - das ist dem harten Hohlkörper zuzuschreiben. Wer damit mal 40 Minuten über Amsterdamer Kopfsteinpflaster gerollt ist, ist froh wenn er endlich am Ziel ist. Seine wirkliche Stärke als Handgepäck spielt der Peli aber im Bereich "Warten" aus! Anders als auf anderen Koffern kann man darauf nicht nur sehr bequem sondern auch beliebig lange sitzen. Ohne dass der Koffer irgendwann kaputt geht. Klingt albern, aber wer mal 3 Stunden lang in einem überfüllten Bahnhof oder Flughafen in einer Schlange gestanden hat, weiß sowas zu schätzen! Oder man kann sich draufstellen, um ein Foto über einen Zaun zu machen. Der ausziehbare Henkel ist ebenso wie der Rest unzerstörbar und recht praktisch - an der langen Seite hat man noch einen Klappgriff und oben auch noch einen, die Unterseite ist schön flach und wenn der Koffer steht, dann steht er wirklich. Leider sind Peli Cases zu schwer um sie ernsthaft als großen Koffer zu nutzen. Das entsprechende Case bringt alleine schon über 12kg auf die Wage. Das Austauschbare Schild an der Kofferfront kann man sich beim Stempel- und Schildermacher gravieren lassen.

Incredible luggage, prefect for photo/electronics, mega sturdy, waterproof, excellent manufacture quality, worth every penny as an insurance of protection for your gear when you travel. NOTICE: this is sized exactly for cabin carry-on luggage, because of it's sturdy construction, be aware the internal capacity is somewhat reduced, make sure your gear does not exceed available area.

Conforme en tout point. On sent tout de suite la résistance des matériaux. Je pense qu'elle sera parfaite pour transporter un caisson étanche pour appareil photo pro. Après, je ne l'ait pas utilisé en condition réelles a savoir transport en avion sur 15000Kms, donc a voir. Mais je fais confiance a la réputation de la marque qui n'en est pas a ses débuts. En tout cas pour l'instant je ne regrette pas mon achat, espérons que ça dure.
