Great quality item, Well worth the price.
I have ordered several pairs of these over the past 4 to 5 years and this new pair is great quality as ever. The handy side pocket is great and the fit/ feel is just right. Well worth the purchase if you are in the market of a good pair of walking trousers.

Good but let down by defects
Bought 2 pairs, for fit, comfort, practicality would be 5 stars but let down by silly defects: one pair had main fastening button with tiny metal inserts which cut the thread, so button comes off, other pair had a poorly stitched seam in crotch which came apart. Cragghopper kiwi trousers I bought over 10 years ago are still wearable, quality far superior.

I do like these
First impression was very thin material and very light will they be any good. They are generously cut, elasticated waist makes them very comfortable and give a bit leeway if you like to tuck top layers into your waistband. The legs are very wide and do flap about a bit but again if you like to use gaiters or leggings under your trousers this is a plus.Plenty pockets which is also good.Even though thin material they are wind proof so do keep you warm in those conditions.I’ve walked about forty miles in mine now without problem, mostly in icy conditions.Don’t know how waterproof they are as have not been caught in rain yet but rinsing mud off the bottoms of the legs the water does not seem to go through and they dry out very quickly.Yes I like them as they suit my purpose.

Cotton Trek trousers
Ideal work trousers, wash and wear well, only down point it they have to be dried on an airer, they can not be tumble dried, in this day and age that is not good, but they don't take too long, even so, they are only cotton, so not sure why they can't be dried, you need to iron them,The other odd point is that these are supposed to be for people who go treking, and hiking, so if you were wearing these in a warm sunny country, whilst doing this, and you need to wash them, how are you going to dry them without them being in direct sunlight??? impossible in that situation but that is another issue highlighted on the care label.

Great Fit
I'm always sceptical about ordering clothes online without first having tried them on, however the Amazon returns policy was enough to sway me.I ordered 34L, and happy to report that the trousers are a really good length for someone who is 6'4". They are lightweight and having quickly worn them around the house, comfortable.I am not able to comment on Water Resistance, however with 2 relatively large hikes in the next 6 weeks, an update will be given by the start of July. Happy so far.Weather Update: they've been waterproof so far.

Great bushcraft trousers.
I have 2 pairs of these. They are great, hard wearing trousers that I use for bushcraft, walking and doing DIY. They have loads of pockets for stashing all your goodies. The knees are reinforced. They are also quick drying. Overall, for the price, these punch well above their weight. Highly recommended.
