Nice sound bell, long delivery time, crap packaging
Like the bell! Bought for my 3yr old Grandson when he is 'playing shops'. He pretends (as shopkeeper) not to be there, in back room, etc. . . .so to get his attention we (Wife or I) would shout 'hello Mr shopkeeper, where are you?' or something as that. With this bell, whap it! and the shop down the street would hear it! Clear sound. Strong sound. Good price. Downside: poor delivery - - - 20-ish days? Sub-standard packaging. . . .forced into manilla, padded envelope - a Mail-Lite-type envelope. However, this envelope was soooooo small, the the 'dinger' / pusher was thru the envelope and could have EASILY been broken or bent. Summary: Luvly bell, great sound! Terrible delivery time, crap packaging.

Ram-a-lam-a-ding's-gone
I once read an article that said you could train any dog to use one of these bells to let you know when they wanted to go out to go toilet. I've got a Chihuahua. The bell's been launched up the garden. It didn't 'alf make a decent 'ding' when it landed tho'. I'll give it that.

It rings, it works.
This bell has bought much humour to my office. My boss used to have one to bring meetings to order and to call people into his office in the next room. As much as he did it tongue in cheek, we weren't particularly happy about it. So I bought this bell and every time he rang his bell, one of us pressed this. The first time was done in a meeting and he was completely shocked. Guess what though, his bell stopped being used because he didn't like us using ours.I can't give it more of a review than that. It's a bell. It rings. It works.

Are You Being Served?
This bell looks exactly like it should, the stereotypical customer service or class room bell. It has a nice shiny finish and looks great sitting on the desk. When you press the button there is an initial resistance that suddenly gives and creates a good striking action with a clear and lasting ring. It doesn't take much pressure to ring the bell and using more pressure/speed creates a louder ring.On the one hand there is nothing outstanding about this bell, but that's because it does its job so well that it quickly becomes invisible and an invaluable tool on your desk.Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Bought 2 of these for work as an ongoing joke ...
Bought 2 of these for work as an ongoing joke where we ring the bell when a member of staff spends all of their time telling someone how busy they are and how many hours they work, whereas if they actually got on with their work instead of talking about it they wouldn't have to do as many hours. It's quite the challenge to ring the bell without them knowing why you are ringing it. Makes the people who know about it laugh every time, so well worth the 5 stars!

Useful addition to classroom
I wanted to use this to gain class attention, and it does, although it is not as loud as I wanted. I have tried it on several surfaces but its not clear enough for a whole class of 14 year olds to hear when they are doing a writing relay. It is however a useful addition as a teacher tool when doing tasks that need teacher judgenet to decide when its over.

Useful
We use this bell as part of toilet training routine, (echoing Nursery training regime)it's lightweight so we can put it in a handbag. It has worked as a reward and we have a dry boy within a fortnight.

Good clean loud ring
Didn't realise this was not coming from the UK, so was disappointed in having a long wait for it to arrive. We wanted it for the puppy to let us know when he needed the garden. Works a treat. Ordered another (from the UK for speed) heavier one. This one is quite light and he does sometimes run off with it! The new much more expensive one arrived quickly but will have to go back. The ring is not as clear or as loud as this one.
