Please don't buy this book!
This book tells you how to find all of the most exciting places to canyoneer in AZ, and I like that most of them still aren't too crowded, so don't buy it. Also, I bought two copies of this book (one for home and one that I keep in my car), so I guess that means I bought your copy, and you need to go buy something else.

Very detailed and nicely illustrated--great guidebook
This is a very detailed guide with great illustrations and explanations. Definitely among the best I've ever used. I have yet to do any of the canyons listed in the book, but I am looking forward to it. My only disappointment was that there aren't any canyons in SW Arizona (closer to where I live). If there are no good canyons there, it's hardly the author's fault :)

Good book
I have used this book to help prepare for trips in canyons. I have only used it a few times, but so far so good.

Got this to start myself on canyoneering. Done 1 trip in the book so far and found the trip as described. Am planning many more.

Only guide for AZ
This is the go-to book for technical canyoneering in AZ. One this to keep in mind is when the guide was published. There have been many changes since then and some of the canyons have been bolted and/or had access restricted. Visit Todds website for updates before you head out.
