Hated to spend Mega dollars on OEM parts just to see if this transmission will live again. I will say these fit as they should, seem to be good quality, easy to install, and function as they should, with apparently no leaks. All works as it should, I may test the durability and leave these pieces in for a while.

I work for a manufacturer that uses ZF transmissions in all of their vehicles. I was replacing solenoids on the valve body and needed just a seal kit. The seal kit worked perfectly and arrived quickly all at a great price point. Would definitely use again.

I ordered this kit because FCP Euro accidentally left out one OEM ZF seal from my order. I wanted to finish the job, so I bought this kit since it would arrive the next day. I only used one seal from this Amazon kit, and immediately started having transmission issues I wasn’t experiencing before, specifically slipping in 5th and 6th gear. After taking everything back apart, I found that the Amazon seal was visibly more compressed than the OEM ones. At first, it seemed to protrude the same as the others before tightening the valve body down, but once removed again, it was clearly much more squished than the other three genuine seals. It also came out extremely loose. All of this points to it not sealing properly. Maybe using all four together would help distribute the difference, but I doubt it. these simply don’t match OEM quality or tolerances. FCP rushed me the missing OEM seal, I swapped it in, and the problem was completely resolved. That confirms the Amazon seal was the issue. Unless you want to do the job twice, stick with genuine ZF seals.

I spent at least an hour trying to get the sleeve coupler to fit. The old one went in very easy and did not leak. After an hour I tried to pry the coupler in with a large screwdriver and damaged the coupler, so I took the o-rings off and put them on the old coupler and it went back in just fine with no leaks. The Mechtronic adapter also wasn't correct, so I just threw it all in the trash. Save yourself the hassle and buy the original ones for a few more bucks.

The sleeves fit but the mechatronic adapter did not. There is a notch in the plastic piece that was on the wrong side. Luckily I was able to take the rubber seals out and transfer them to the old plastic piece.

First of all I will preface this review by saying I work on a lot of cars and know what I'm doing.. Anyway, I changed out the 4 tubular seals that fit the transmission valve body. The original tube were rubber but these were a stiff plastic. I Ran the engine for about an hour and drove with it short distances. Now I was having a transmission leak problem. I drained the fluid, pulled the pan and checked the valve body. I pulling the seals that came in this kit I'm referring to, they were very tight coming out as if they were melted somewhat. They tore coming out and a bad seal between the valve body and transmission.. I bought another brand and the new kit was rubber tubing as well. In a nutshell, please don't buy this product. Your time and about $130 in fluid will be wasted.
