Stops working giving inaccurate readings
Worked for a few months. But I've now had this for a year and and half and its become wildly inaccurate, tried several ways and with new batteries... My daughter has been sent home 3 different occasions from nursery where this thermometer didn't pick up any fever. Have since brought a new one which actually picks up a high temp

Happy with it
I bought one for myself and it worked great, so when my daughter had flu I ordered one for her home too. It's not less accurate than the normal electronic thermometer but it's faster and easier. My daughter was happy seeing that it also measures room temperature.
