Nice gate slidding latch
Nice solid gate latch. It was easy to install, came with the screws and functions smoothly. It even has a hole to put a lock on it.

Great! Solid as heck and well coated
I bought these to replace some latches on our bathroom stall doors that had worn out through use. These things were significantly more heavy duty than I thought when I ordered them just to try them out. The paint coating seems nice and thick, but isn't blotchy, it is a smooth nice finish. We are a higher end establishment and they make a nice latch for the bathrooms. They are 100% perfect for what I need, I bought the 6 inch. Re-bought them to put on the rest of our stalls and have some backups for who knows what. 10/10 recommend

Strong, well built latch
Used this to mount a heavy gate to a single wooden post. The heavy duty bolt was mounted on the opposing gate. That divided the load between the posts which to really secured the gate very firmly. Very impressed with the quality and will order several more to replace my other gate latches.

Poor Brass Finish
I liked the solid nature of the hardware. This seems good quality. However, any friction of the bolt moving into the receiver when locking the door quickly wore off the brass finish on the barrel bolt. It won't be long before I have a stainless-steel barrel bolt.

Nice and sturdy, easy install
Was looking for a latch to hold my EzeBreeze door closed when the wind got a hold of it, this worked perfect. It is a very sturdy latch/bolt, was pretty easy to install and really holds the door tight. I had to offset it with some washers due to an overlap but got it to work perfect and looks good.

Good deal
Works like a latch should. No issues. I like the extended arm which makes it easy to use. The material seems good; thick enough, will secure the door well and has a good appearance.

This sliding lock can be used in any position and it looks well made.
We were quoted 27,000 dollars for a new door and at this time it wasn't possible to go in that direction. No matter what the governments says -- TIMES ARE TOUGH. Our main door swings outwards so I bought this lock to help keep things in check. The permanent part of the (non- swinging) has pins (for the lack of a better word) which go into the frame on the bottom and top. This looks like a secure setup. On the outward swinging door I installed two small sliding locks -- vertically-- in the bottom tile and the upper part into the frame. This gives one a feeling of security when they are extended. There's only so much one can do. Now I felt with all the crime now coming and living in a hurricane prone area I needed to go a step further. The stainless steel gate lock looked like the right part for my design. By getting a 1/2" thick x 2'' wide x 4" long aluminum spacer from our local metal supplier, I created enough space to be flush with door's own v. molding. I need to drill into the aluminum 4 holes for an 8/32 screw using as the final drill #29 (in my case 1/8") for I don't have a #29) and HD can't help me here. To prove a point to myself -- by holding the alum. spacer I extended the lock and the bolt part slid right over the molding. Now I envision that the swinging door can't open because the bolt is extended past the molding and held captive. On the other end I'll use the 1" part of the lock ( which is mounted on the the non- swinging door) so when the bolt is extended it will fit through it completely. It's got to look good because it's the main door and it must function properly. Drilling this straight will be a challenge-- so I'll start with a small 3/32 drill or so, as a pilot drill and must keep it as perpendicular as possible. I only have a hand drill and it's up to my hands and brain to drill straight. The TORX screws from the outside will receive fender washers and they will be going in almost a 1/4'' into the threaded aluminum piece. I firmly believe this will look and work well as I envision it. Photo to follow...soon. I highly recommend the Alise Slide Lock SUS304 Stainless Steel Gate Latch.
