This scale does what it's made for so, if your health minded and hold this money then buy one... you'll be well pleased!!!!

I purchased this scale on the strength of a YouTube video review by Laura Try and was attracted by what appeared to be a strong set of full body composition features plus the reputation of the Tanita brand when it comes to medical devices. The scale is pretty sturdy and large for such a device and the most complicated installation issue was related to pairing the scale with my iPhone via Bluetooth. That took around 30 minutes of experimentation to get it paired but that might be something particular to my setup. It's a pretty basic app but tells does everything you would expect in terms of visualising your various body metrics over time. There is also a website which is more useful if you want to copy/paste values into, for example, a spreadsheet or export CSV values over a date range. After using this for a good 6 weeks I can say that the only accurate measurement this scale gives is that of your weight. The various body composition measurements can vary wildly between days which made me question how accurate the scale was. To put my mind at rest I booked a DEXA scan which many would argue is one of the most precise ways of measuring body composition. It confirmed my suspicions unfortunately and the Tanita scale was wildly inaccurate compared to the DEXA scan. My Body Fat according to the Tanita scale was inaccurate to a whopping 6%. It under measured my Muscle Mass by 7lb, my Visceral Fat by 8lb, and my Bone Mass by 2lb. One of the reasons I purchased the higher end Tanita scale was to track my Visceral Fat levels in particular, which is the dangerous fat around your internal organs. Other than weight (which is fairly accurate) I think the only use it has is to track your rough body composition directional trends over time. All in all, a disappointing purchase. My advice would be to buy a much cheaper scale and use the money saved to go for the occasional DEXA scan.

J’ai acheté cette balance pour aider mon conjoint à perdre du poids et prendre ses propres mesures à tous niveaux, elle contient plusieurs indicateurs qui calculent votre morphologie corps, bras gauche et droite, main gauche et droite, jambe gauche et droite et tout cela séparément, la santé de votre cœur et j’en passe. La Nutritionniste avait la même et c’est là que j’ai fait la connaissance de cette belle technologie qui vient du Japon. L’application qui fonctionne très bien, malgré de notes pas très sympas qui lui ont été données, sert à archiver les mesures. Ce qui est formidable aussi est que quand vous soulevez la partie avant de la balance jusqu’à votre taille, c’est à ce moment qu’elle est apte à mesurer vos carences (rouge), vos déficits à rectifier (orange) ou de définir que vous avez le bon poids pour votre taille et ossature, que votre cœur se porte bien, que vous avez une bonne alimentation vu que vous avez consommé X calories etc. en vous indiquant tous les indicateurs au vert. Mon conjoint auquel je me suis associée faisons ce rituel de pesée approfondie 1 x semaine. Si vous vous pesez quotidiennement, vous montez sur la balance en prenant soin de bien l’allumer d’abord, point important, vous vous pesez et c’est tout. Elle s’éteint toute seule. Autre point important, au niveau de l’appairage Bluetooth avec l’application, il faut appuyer sur le bouton O sur la balance, indiqué mais la balance doit être éteinte sinon l’application de votre téléphone ne la reconnaîtra pas, et elle ne pourra pas être appairée. Je recommande vivement ce pèse personne de haute pointe technologique qui vous permettra de vérifier si tous vos indicateurs sont au vert, même en dehors des pesées régulières. Cela pourrait vous permettre de savoir si vous devez consulter votre médecin ou pas.

Quiero empezar diciendo que no tengo ni idea de como lo harán aquellos compradores que han puesto reseñas negativas y dice que varía muchísimo de un día a otro, etc etc. La compre en septiembre de 2023 y tras más de un año no puedo estar más contento. Compito en culturismo, y me acierta las bajadas y subidas de grasa y más aun, cuando he hecho una puesta a punto para perder todo el agua, a acertado de pleno. Si es cierto que no tiene una exactitud milimétrica, eso es imposible. Pero funciona muy muy bien. Me peso todas las mañanas nada más levantarme e ir al baño. En el video nuestro algunas medidas de hace tiempo y al acabar las últimas medidas que tengo.

Ho letto svariate recensioni, qualcuna veramente catastrofista in cui ci si lamenta della scarsa ripetibilità della misura (ovvero l'incapacità della bilancia di restituire due volte lo stesso valore per la stessa misura). Ho quindi fatto immediatamente questo tipo di test, e la sua ripetibilità è assolutamente allineata agli standard di un ottimo strumento di misura. Questo vale sia per la misura di peso diretta, sia per tutta l'altra serie di misure indirette fatte attraverso l'impedenziometria. Va ricordato che la misura impedenziometrica verticale è meno stabile di quella fatta in posizione orizzontale, quindi i valori presi in senso assoluto possono non essere precisissimi, ma io ne suggerisco l'uso per misurare il trend, non il valore assoluto. Non è così importante il valore assoluto del grasso corporeo, ma verificare che la variazione di peso si associ ad una diminuzione di questo e non della massa muscolare. Questo è lo scopo per cui nascono questi prodotti, non l'uso professionale richiesto dagli studi medici o l'applicazione a casi iper specialistici come quelli di un ciclista professionista che deve conoscere il valore esatto e non il trend (per sapere se ha margine di miglioramento o no!). Acquistata con Prime Day mi sono portato a casa un gran bello strumento ad un prezzo ragionevole. Unica pecca a mio avviso è quella di poter fare il setting degli utenti solo con smartphone, ma poi è tutto veramente semplice e intuitivo.

Brak instrukcji w języku polskim. Poza tym waga nie trzyma łączności z aplikacją. Po włączeniu "rozpocznij pomiar" nie może się zsynchronizować i wyświetla błąd połączenia. Pomaga dopiero usunięcie urządzenia z aplikacji i ponowne sparowanie.
