Ordered this mainly for the glass dome for a whiskey smoker project, and it ended up being exactly what I needed. The glass itself is clear and well-formed, which makes a difference when you’re actually watching the smoke fill the chamber. It gives a clean, even seal over the glass, so the smoke stays contained instead of leaking out. The size works well for standard glasses and small setups. It’s large enough to capture a good amount of smoke without feeling oversized or awkward to handle. After using it a few times, what stood out most is how consistent it is. It traps the smoke evenly and lets it settle properly, which improves the overall effect compared to trying to improvise with other covers. The wooden base is a nice addition, but honestly the dome is the real value here. Even if you’re just buying it for that like I was, it holds up well and feels like a proper piece rather than something fragile. Only thing to note—it’s glass, so you still want to handle it carefully. It’s solid, but not something you’d want to drop. For the price, it’s a great value, especially if you’re building or upgrading a smoker setup. If you need a clean, reliable dome that actually does the job right, this is a solid option.

You need a smoking gun. It’s very pretty

The LED's are weak to the point of being pretty useless. The glue that held the LED light strip in place was globed on too thick for the glass dome to sit properly.

I was really disappointed with this product. The main issue is the design: the hole should clearly be in the middle, but it isn’t, and that makes it awkward and frustrating to use. Because of this, it’s unnecessarily hard to get the little hose positioned correctly to smoke an Old Fashioned. What should be a quick, elegant process turns into trial and error every single time. For a product meant to enhance a cocktail experience, it ends up feeling poorly thought out and more annoying than enjoyable.

Decent for the price. Could use a better seal at the bottom and position of the smoke hole should be higher.

Really cool. Would be 5 stars but its not a perfect seal. A lot of smoke escapes making your room smokey (not shown well in the picture). It fits pretty much any glass including this one which i thought may be too tall or wide. Definitely a statement piece and does its job minus the smoke that does escape.

I was a bartender for years, mostly at a VERY fast paced and always very packed bar. Although I could mix drinks accurately with my eyes closed and break $5, $10, $20 bills for quarters at the same time... I consider those skills as skills most bartenders can do ... but most bartenders will never claim to be much of a "MIXOLOGIST." THIS PRODUCT IS DEFINITELY FOR MIXOLOGISTS ... or fairly skilled whiskey/bourbon enthusiasts. This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL piece for any whiskey/bourbon enthusiast and looks stunning atop a counter or shelf with top-shelf liquor bottles (with or without the LEDs on). I can't even begin to tell you how many "smoke induced" drinks I've made. While I see that this would be useful for a private party at home or a smaller private party with a mixologist, it would have taken me WAY TOO long behind the bar to make 1 smoke-induced old fashioned or 1 dragon's breath with this. The idea and presentation factor of it is excellent in theory ... especially with the lights. However, when you've got a bar FULL of thirsty patrons, leaving this on the bar is NOT an option ... nor is waiting for this entire thing to fill with smoke to finish making 1 drink. The LED's are a nice touch on the base and the fact that they each came with replacement batteries was a very nice surprise!

Nice glass dome, nice wood base with all those pretty LEDs. We don't use the LEDs, but my son who just got his bartending certificate may try to use it to show off his stuff. There's a groove for the bottom of the glss dome to sit in when you place it on the base. The groove isn't airtight, so some smoke will sneak out the bottom as you're blowing the smoke in to fill the dome. Which makes sense, since some air has to leave as you blow the smoke in. But once you stop blowing the smoke in, it also stops leaking out the bottom, so everything works out just right. Smoking your drinks has become the cool thing, but you can smoke pretty much anything that will fit in here. I noticed one other review mentioned smoking butter, and now I need to try that! If you watched Zumbo's Just Desserts, you saw a lot of treats emerge from some thick white smoke for a deamatic reveal... that's SO much fun to do at home yourself, and especially when the smoke has a flavor and a scent, not just some dry ice for visual effect! Let your creativity out with this, and have fun amping up your senses!
