What a lamp. From the speed and good nature of the delivery man to the simple elegance of the 95x60mm cardboard container - This lamp was created to ensure the owners happiness from the outset. Finished in a glossy black glass reinforced ABS plastic with a finely scupted transverse fitting and dual 8mm diameter fitting grommets, this 240V illuminaire is designed for performance. Confidence is byword as installation into any oven is made easy with the ruggedised 2.4mm spade connectors, neatly splayed away from the center trunion of the lamp by 90 degrees, 'Dont worry about the polarity' they seem to call - 'Just connect me up and let me fly!' The tungsten coil within the bulb housing has been lovely crafted, you can tell, love went into making this and it performs an orgasm of love back at you, the excited particles/wave ejected under heating seem to have a glow about them, like a perfect sunrise - it s a wonderful hue, perfect for inspection of any food as heated within your oven, a triumph.

We'd had our Panasonic NN-CT56JB combi microwave for about 4 years when the internal bulb decided to stop working. While the microwave was still usable, it meant we weren't able to see if something was about to boil over - which can be tedious and/or messy! Local electrical dealers wanted over £80 for a repair. We considered this to be rather OTT and at that price, would rather have bought a new oven.... On perusing Google and YouTube, I discovered that replacement bulbs were readily available and importantly, there are videos on how to disassemble the microwave to change them. The instructions for most larger Panasonic microwaves are very similar and the bulbs are identical (with "L" shaped connectors). It's best to check before you buy. The swap overall took me about 10 minutes. One starts by sliding off the top cover after removing a few retaining screws. In our case, these were simple Philips screws though apparently some Panasonic microwaves have security screws that require a particular screwdriver bit (again, best to check first). This replacement bulb cost less than £5 including Prime next day delivery. The old bulb was held in by a single screw and was very easy to swap out. Despite what is shown in the listing, the bulb I received is an LED type rather than filament (like the old one). It gives a slightly "colder" light. However, it works a treat, has adequate light output and hopefully should last longer! So, we are most chuffed as our microwave is again fully functional - with the repair costing less than £5! We have absolutely no complaints..... 😁👌😁👌😁

It was so simple to replace the bulb in my Panasonic Combi oven & microwave NN-CT5795 - My model was not stated but my research was proved right and this item fitted fine - I now have a nice bright light . Once I removed the casing (about 8 screws) only had a further 2 screws and then to disconnect the 2 terminals and slot out the bulb - ever so easy.

I took a gamble on this as my microwave oven is a Belling, and I had been unable to source one. However it fitted perfectly delivery was really fast .. My only gripe is with oven manufacturers, why can they not standardise these a have a normal s.e.s. fitting bulb in a standard bulb holder ? other manufactures do it so it is not impossible, perhaps to make extortionate sums for spares ? Anyway that,s my rant... But this supplier is first class, for value and delivery.. Thanks

The Panasonic users manual said that the bulb must be replaced by a suitably qualified and approved repairer. Anyway my wife and I had a go ourselves. We read online blogs of how to go about it and duly followed the instructions. Provided you stick to the advice about not poking around at things you don't need to touch it is very easy. It is better to have two people because you have to take the outer case off to get at the bulb and the case does have some springyness in it. The bulb we ordered was delivered well within the time allowed for the free delivery option selected and it was well packed so that it arrived in one piece. The bulb was an exact replacement and works perfectly. Top marks.

Received via Royal Mail within 2 working days of order placed, very high quality replacement unit to OEM specification. The installation involved the removing a total of 8 screws holding the outer cover on the microwave oven, then 1 more screw holding the bulb in once the electrical pull off terminals were detatched. This is a very easy job to carry out yourself, taking me a total of 15 minutes, including testing the new bulb FIRST before installation.

No way is this bulb 25w strength. I bought this to replace a temporary bulb of 20w that I had spare that I used when my microwave bulb blew. This bulb, that is supposed to be 25w, it is actually duller than the 20w bulb I was using. If I was a repair man fixing someone's microwave, my business reputation would be seriously damaged if I used this part, it is shockingly abysmal quality. When I tried to request a replacement the option was not available only the option to return the item, where I had to pay the postage costs despite stating that the item was defective. I will be avoiding Cherry Pick Electronics in the future who supplied the bulb via Amazon. Very disappointed.
