This little guy simply works, and works well!
I'm a clinical psychologist, self-diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder - the Winter Blues. In my hometown, not only do we have less light in the winter but we have A LOT of overcast days in the winter. Every year it kicks me in the butt - can't think, can't get motivated, can't sustain momentum, my productivity drops, I get moody and irritable, and I want to snack (and so put on weight). I've known about light therapy for some time, and finally (at my wife's urging) bought this unit. Within one day, I was feeling better, by the second day, I felt like my normal self. SAD is a real, scientifically documented condition that affects about 10% of the population, and it's biological. The light therapy is not simply a placebo effect - it changes how your brain functions and the kinds of hormones that are being released. The Circadian Optics Light works, and works well, because it is so bright - advertised at 10,000 lux - the recommended brightness for SAD. Most of the research on light therapy has been conducted with larger, fluorescent lights, and frankly I don't like the industrial look of them, the intrusive size, and i really don't like fluorescent light. This LED unit works just fine. I place about an arms length away off to one side, and then do whatever next to it (usually reading my Kindle) for about 45 minutes in the early morning. If i use it for less time, if find myself craving more light. I then do a booster session of 30 minutes or so in the afternoon (I'm using it as i write this) and my mood and clarity of thought return. This unit is bright enough, not too big in size, is inexpensive, and because it's LED it uses very little electricity. It works, and it works well. It is well constructed, and is small and light enough that you could pack it in a suitcase for travel. If you've been wanting to try light therapy, I can recommend this unit as being very cost effective. It works so well I bought a second unit to use at the office.

Bright Adjustable Therapy Lamp is Perfect for Light Therapy at Home or Away
This product shipped and arrived as expected. I absolutely love this Bright Light Therapy Lamp. The light has three incredibly clear brightness levels. The push-button on-off switch is right in front and very light to the touch. The 10,000 Lumens meet the recommended levels for therapeutic benefit. The light is also small but sturdy and can easily fit on a bedside table or bathroom shelf away from water supplies. The size makes it easy for pack and go, offering therapy on the go. I would highly recommend this light for therapeutic use.

Wait till they have a Bluetooth option
The only thing wrong with this product is that it lacks features. I appreciate that it's simple and the design is really good, but why does it not have more features, especially given how expensive it is compared to other options? Genuinely speaking, I don't think I can recommend this unless you really want a light that only does three things: turn on, get dimmer, and turn off. That is basically all it does. Granted, the product description says that, but I still don't get why it's so expensive. I think it should be a little bit more affordable, especially considering the build quality. I thought this was an entirely metal build because of how it looks, but it is actually plastic. That would be a bit of a ding if it weren't a high-quality plastic. If Circadian Optics decides to make more iterations, please include Bluetooth and custom modes. I would love to see features such as: 1. A winding down mode 2. A waking up mode Realistically speaking, that is all I need. Having this on in the morning helps immensely, but what doesn't help is being blasted by a light therapy device when I'm still trying to wake up. I actually had to get a different, more affordable product that had those basic features, but that product doesn't even work well because I have to constantly update the app. If you guys can implement those features, that would be great. If you don't, I think you're just leaving money on the table.

Great Product!
I've had this light for a little over two months now and am definitely impressed by the attractive design, simplicity of use, brightness factor with 3 settings, and overall performance. I used this light pretty much daily in the months of December and January and I found that it really does give you a boost to the day. I used it primarily in the mornings shortly after waking up for about 15-20 minutes a day. Using this light made me more awake and alert during those dark winter mornings, and I also noticed that I was in a more positive frame of mind which often stayed with me throughout the day. This light is perfect for those long, cloudy late fall and winter months and will brighten your day!

Donโt stare directly at it (duh) and sleep in 90 minute increments
Love how easy this this is. Plug in. Push single button. Feel like youโre in the sweet sunshine even when inside. Pretty brilliant and has made a huge difference in reestablishing my wake pattern. TIP- HUMAN SLEEP IN 6:00 or 7 1/2 hour increments. So set your sleep time to coincide. Insomnia and Waking up to an alarm that yanks you out of a ram cycle is wet start your day off horribly. Establishing healthy sleep timing is critical. 1.5 hour increments, for the average Adult that means we get the opportunity to wake up gracefully if we sleep for six hours, or 7 1/2. Nine if youโre lucky or if you feel like youโre getting sick. I wish someone had told me that years ago. Aside from that, if you just need to get more sunshine in your life or anxiety or for Fact that it just makes you happy, this land is pretty much the easiest way to do that if you canโt physically be outside. And I love the fact that it does not hurt my skin because the UV lights have been significantly reduced to almost nothing. Winning. You might catch yourself saying โi love lampโ

Still too early to review fully, but it works !
Iโve only been using it for 3 (technically 2) days, but so far it is working. Itโs for sure going to be trial and error to find out what works best for my N24 cycle but currently I am doing 1 hour full intensity at wake up only. Doing so keeps my wake up time early, and I feel naturally sleepy before going to bed !! You do need to be careful not to use the light after a certain point in the day though. After maybe 5 or 6 hours of being awake, doing the light therapy for even 20 minutes pushed back my sleep time 4 hours. My log: 1st day: Went to bed at 10:30pm, woke up 6:20 am, 1hr L.T at wake up, 20 minutes afternoon (DONT DO AFTERNOON, IT HAS OPPOSITE EFFECT) went to bed at 1:50 AM due to incorrect usage 2nd day: Woke up at 7:45am, 1hr L.T at wake up. Went to bed at 10:40pm. 3rd day: Woke up at 6:00AM (hour earlier than previous wake up time) due to correct usage. Decided to not do L.T to see if it really was working. I did start feeling fleetingly sleepy at ~10pm but ended up watching tv and going to bed at 2:30AM-10:25AM So the light really does work and itโs not just some fluke. On top of all that, it noticeably improves my mood, energy, and anxiety. On the day after of incorrect and no usage, my mood was deflated. Whereas with correct usage, I have an amount of energy and good mood I rarely have. My friends say itโs night and day how much more social and happy I am already. Obviously Iโm still very much in the testing phase and time will only tell how well itโll manage my N24 hour cycle, but I feel optimistic about my sleep for the first time ever.

Super bright, unpleasant light
I have the Circadian Optics Lumos lamp, and have so many good things to say about it that when I wanted to buy a larger lamp, Circadian Optics was the brand I trusted amongst all the choices. The Lumine is not nearly as nice. First observation: The Lumos feels solid and has weight to it while the Lumine is extremely lightweight and almost feels cheap. I know, I know, the Lumos has a battery so of course it'll be heavier, but still. The Lumine does attach firmly on the base and the fact that it doesn't weigh much will help in mounting it to a wall like I intend to do, so I'm willing to get past the "feel." The next thing is the light itself. The Lumos has one panel with a solid white light. It's very bright, but doesn't hurt my eyes and is overall pleasant to have in my peripheral vision. I use it at a distance of just over one foot. The Lumine has circular LEDs behind the white panel, and you can see every single one. It's also so much brighter than the Lumos that even having it in my peripheral vision leaves temporary burn ins on my retina of the array of small circular lights. It's obnoxious. I understand the light needs to be bright, and this certainly does that (another reviewer said they're using it as a flood light in their garage; that's a great idea for how bright it is!), but it isn't a pleasant brightness due to the visible bulbs and burn in. I've only used it twice so far, but I will keep trying instead of returning it. I use the Lumos at work to help with sleepiness due to delayed sleep phase disorder and an early work schedule, and IT WORKS so dang well. I have the Lumine to help me on weekends when I'm not at my work desk and also to help my boyfriend with his SAD, and if it works for him I will edit my review and bump up the stars, because if the product works (i.e., reduces sleepiness and improves seasonal depression), that will be worth more than the aesthetics that I've complained about above.

Felt energetic, focus, less sleepy
I live in an apartment with no direct sunlight, outside is too hot, air quality is extremely bad & i'm not usually waking up early. All this culminated into me feeling sluggish and sleepy all day. I have only used it for 2 days so my review will be limited to that period only. First day when I used it, my brain went nuts - in a good way. I felt really active all day. My focus was really improved and overall my energy levels were off the chart. The second day, I used it with a less intensity - I still felt very energetic during the day. So, all in all I'm really happy with this purchase. Ask yourself, do you generally live in a dark place? If the answer is yes, then you would definitely benefit from it.

A bit small, but works very well. Excellent light output.
I'm very happy with this lamp. Being a smaller lamp, it doesn't have as great a range as the Circadian Optics Lampu, which I also tried... but the Lumine (this one) is much easier to use, since it has the touch sensor on the front where you can easily find it. They both have the same light output, the only difference is range, which is dependent on size. It was a tough decision between the two, because a bigger lamp with greater range is better when you're moving around the room as you work, whereas with the smaller one you have to stay closer to stay in range and get the full effects of the light... but at the end of the day, the hassle of not being able to find the hidden touch sensor was just not worth it. This lamp may have a smaller range, but it's easy to use, which leads me to use it more, so I actually get more benefit from it in the long run. I think "which is better" is a matter of personal opinion, whether the trade-off of range vs ease of use is worth it.

Works well! (First impressions)
I've been using this light for about a week and a half and it's really nice and bright! The LED lights do show up as individual lights but it doesn't bother me too much. I wonder if the company could make one that spreads the light out more evenly (that would have been 5 starts for sure). I also love that there are 3 light settings instead of just one. I think I made the right choice and will keep using this.
