Heinz may be more expensive than other brands, but the quality of the beans and the richness of the sauce's flavour cannot be beaten.These Barbecue beans are super tasty, with a thick, rich sauce that is more than a subtle barbecue flavour and a delicious meal when served with 2 or 3 slices of toast. When I get home from work and want a quick meal, there is nothing like it, and although when you compare the price to other beans, they may be more expensive, it is still a cheap meal if you have a can of beans and toast for dinner.

Baked beans are one of the few larder items that has changed little over the years. I’ve tried a few different brands; some are tough with nasty shells, some have watery sauce and inevitably I go back to Heinz. We all know that’s what beanz meanz! Great source of fibre and protein. Easy to open and ready to eat within minutes and a meal of beans is satisfying and nutritious. This packs 24 was a Black Friday bargain, came in at less than half the usual shop price, so great value and a long shelf date. I like to lift them sometimes by adding a spoonful of spicy hot chutney to mix through, or a bit of Lea and Perrins. They work well with a dessert spoon of mango chutney stirred in too or a layer of Branson pickle on the toast before serving. Yummy and the best

I love Heinz BBQ Beans. Love them. They’re baked beans that woke up one day and said, “What if I had a personality?” And honestly? They nailed it.That BBQ sauce is doing the most — smoky, slightly sweet, bold enough to make normal beans feel embarrassed. Put these on toast and suddenly it’s not a snack anymore, it’s a statement. Regular beans could never.BUT. And this is important.Why do they not have bacon bits in them??They’re standing right there at greatness, arms crossed, refusing to take the final step. Bacon bits would elevate these from “excellent” to “why am I eating anything else ever.”Still, I forgive them. Every time. Because they’re rich, comforting, and make me feel like I’ve treated myself even though it’s still just beans from a tin.Final verdict:Absolutely elite beans. Deeply loved. Slightly betrayed by the lack of bacon bits. Heinz, call me — I have ideas 🫘🔥
