This is the worst investment I have made in a long time. From day 1 we have had nothing but problems. First time use, the belt was slipping and iFit froze a few minutes into the workout. I tightened the belt, so that was fixed. Second workout, had a huge harmonic thud every time my foot touched down, and iFit froze a few minutes into the workout. I did some research and found out the thud was coming from the gas strut that helps lift the platform when you want to fold it. I had to disconnect the strut to get rid of the thud. Now I no longer have the option to fold the treadmill to save space when not in use. For about the next 6 workouts, iFit froze a few minutes in. We quit using iFit and only use the treadmill in manual mode now. We typically put on a video or show to watch (on our tv, not the treadmill screen) while working out but the treadmill has a rattle now that is so loud I can’t even hear the tv. I can hear the rattle with earbuds in and the volume turned all the way up. This treadmill is complete junk. I did email Nordic Track and have heard nothing in response. I thought I did enough research before I bought this treadmill, but now that I’m having issues I am finding groups on social media that are for people that made the same mistake I did. Before you purchase anything from this company, do an internet search on iFit freezing up. I got rid of a 19 year old Bowflex treadmill when I purchased this thing. The Bowflex never gave me a single issue and was a fraction of the price. When I bought the Nortic Track, I thought I was upgrading. I was wrong!

It's almost like in the gym. I ordered the treadmill and assembly from Amazon and everything went very well. The assembly guys came prepared and it did not take them long. They explained everything to me and were very professional. The only problem was the delivery. The delivery guy was supposed to only deliver it to the doorstep. He was very forthcoming and helped us bring the treadmill to the back of our house to the entrance of our basement (although he didn't have to). My husband and I needed several hours to actually get it into the house and move it to the right spot where it could be assembled. It is extremely heavy and would require at least four strong men to move it carefully. We were lucky we did not damage anything in that process. The treadmill itself exceeded my expectations. I have been using it for more than two months now and it did not show any issues. I am only using the manual part of the system - no IFIT app - which is easy to access. On the screen, in the upper right, there is a button for 'manual training'. The treadmill does not require any membership to start it. The manual program is simple but enough for me - it shows the speed, run-time, incline, calories etc. For runners who only need basic information and no entertainment, this treadmill fulfils more than its purpose. It can also be folded up easily but not moved easily because it is heavy (it has wheels though). The screen is really cool but it's not possible to place anything on it, like an iPad. I managed to place my iPad between the handle bar and the fan which is good enough. Overall, it looks really stylish and just like one for double the price. I can highly recommend this treadmill.

Worse purchase I have made . So disappointed with this tread mill . I did not get the warranty because the previous Nordictrack treadmill I had lasted 15 yrs with no issues so when that one finally broke I purchased another ( the commercial 1750. The fan broke after just a couple of months and now 2-1/2 yrs later the control board went out and it won’t start . I am so disappointed and I paid quite a bit for it . So frustrated!

Love the treadmill and love the ifit workouts. However, every third or fourth day I have to reboot the entire machine and download all of the updates again. It just disconnects from the internet and the screen gets stuck on "retry"-which will not respond to touch. It is quite frustrating because the reboot and re-download of the software takes about 15-20 minutes. I wish there was a fix for this- but I haven't found one yet.

This is a great treadmill, unless like mine, your controller board fails just after the first year. A 1 year and 4 months, while running on the the treadmill the belt stopped suddenly. It wouldnt resume, so I reset the machine and did all the troubleshooting etc. Eventually I noticed a blinking red light under the front housing. Some googling informed me that 4 blinks in a pattern means a bad switch or bad controller and that if you reboot the machine and it still happens the controller needs to be replaced. No big deal, I'll reach out for a replacement part and swap it out. Except you cant. You need to pay $159+tax+fees, and maybe a travel charge for a technician to 'diagnose' and then if you need a part they order it (thats covered still) and then you need to pay for the second visit for the technician to install the part. Assuming its the same as the first visit, figure around $350 for the visits and put that towards the 5 year preventative service plan. I wish I had.
