Most overrated item on amazon?
I cant believe why this product has such fantastic reviews. Thats why I decided to spend 100 quid to buy this pan. After less than 10 uses mainly scrambled eggs and light cooking the surface is all scratched, as if I used a metal scorer. I used only rubber spatula and cleaned it with water and kitchen towel. Nevertheless it didint help. I contacted the producer and requested my money back and they refused. Its incredible. Dont buy this piece of junk. Plus its not Ptfe free

DO NOT BUY - faulty or fake product line
DO NOT BUY. Amazon must be stocking a fake or faulty product line as i bought one of these and it scratched badly on the first go under medium heat with a wooden spoon. Amazon gave me a replacement and the same happened after the first use with a silicon spatula. Luckily got a full refund. Won’t be buying Le Creuset again. I note that a number of people in the comments have had the same happen to them

Really non stick.
Do not waste your money on other makes, Le Creuset is truly non stick, no oil needed. I have three saucepans, casserole dish, two frying pans, and a milk pan, NOTHING sticks. Use on a medium heat, and allow to cool before HAND washing. Do not put in a dishwasher. Money well spent.

Good pan. Don’t expect it to last forever
I purchased this pan and a similar 24cm deep pan about 2 years ago. I must say that I have treated both with much care and attention, by that I mean never dry fried, never browned meat, never got the pan too hot, no metal implements and always hand washed.Within months despite all the efforts above the pans surface became discoloured and lost its non stick. I contacted Le Crueset who asked that I return it to them under the ‘lifetime guarantee ‘. I duly did and they contacted me to say that the damage to the surface was my fault for overheating the pan (absolutely not). On this occasion they would send be a new pan as a good will gesture which they did. There was a proviso that this was a one off good will gesture, not to be repeated. So much for the lifetime guarantee. The replacement pan has now gone the same way and I can assure you it’s been very well taken care of. Not sure I can be bothered with another patronising round with Le Crueset so I may well just bin it and move on.A point to note though is that the smaller deep pan is still doing well.I bought a Circulon Infinite frying pan about a year ago for a fraction of the price of the Le Crueset and this gets all the kitchen abuse. To be honest it still looks and performs like new, despite a daily bashing. I think this may be the way forward.

Ticks every box it's supposed to and then some
I'm new to spending a small fortune on kitchen equipment. I used to be the guy who bought a frying pan in the supermarket on a whim. So, putting up the cash for this was a big deal to me. I wanted something to work well with the induction hob on my cooker, and I wanted to never have to buy another frying pan again. On first use I was surprised at how good a frying pan can get. I used to think all frying pans were equal - but they're not. This one is surprisingly light and sturdy but is weighted enough to give the feel of quality. It's a little slower to heat than my cheaper pans, but when it's ready, it cooks brilliantly. I've used it for meats and vegetables and they both come out with better flavour than I've known at home. They never stick to the pan, and they're cooked evenly every time. And it's so easy to clean. I can't stress this enough. It's incredibly easy to clean. The dirt almost falls off it. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago. I'm putting money in my piggy bank to buy the next one.

Not worth the Money
As normal this pan did well, slowly it looses its non stick ability within 8 months. we never used metal utensils. Also inside the pan black burn marks appeared, it won't shift with non stick scourer. Not worth the investment.I also use Cast Iron skillet seasoned by myself, Absolutely perfect.

Good product
I already own a lot of Le Creuset pots and pans so I know what I'm getting when I buy their products. They all work very well on an induction hob, although the toughened non-stick saucepans do take a bit longer to heat up their contents compared to the conventional variety. The manufacturer claims they are dishwasher safe, which for a time I suppose they are, but I wouldn't recommend protracted dishwasher use. The not-so-tough non-stick coating on a 4-year-old saucepan of mine is badly damaged around the rim as a consequence of continual dishwasher cleaning.

Coating is not lifetime quarantee
Lifetime quarantee for the base but not for coating. It was wonderful to use for 3 years and after that the coating started discoloring and sticking. I have to buy a new one. I will try stainless steel frying pan and there are methods to make it non slick.
