Fantastic and highly recommend!
This tablet surpassed all my expectations.Having come from a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 - used to the AMOLed display and superior sound, this is actually not far off. Also, having just purchased this (February, 2017) - after reading the mix of reviews, I decided to go for it and so VERY glad I did. I have tried a few budget/low end tablets, and this is by far the best of the lot. At first - the tablet may seem heavy, but it's just a 'different tablet' (To what I am used to). Second - the power button and the volume rocker are on the left side of the unit (also something I will have to get used to). They ARE a bit difficult to press (but something I am already starting to get used to!) (Mind you most of this will be compared in-mind to my previous Samsung, my apologies). I had tried the Pumpkin tablet and various VERY similar tablets - they all weighed a ton! They all had the status bar up top showing, as well as the 'task bar' (bottom bar) always showing - with no way to remove them (i.e. go to full screen on apps, games, etc.) This does NOT HAPPEN on this tablet! I DO use this tablet a LOT for games (SimCity Built it, Rise of Berk, Valkerie Crusade, Happy Tower, Solitaire - all vary from graphically intensive to basic). I have had a really good response in use. The colours are adjustable (Settings to Mira - set to 'user mode' which allows you to full adjust brightness, saturation and more). The initial 'colours' are very good, but I did find that I needed to adjust and tweak for my own preference (which the other tablets I tried were very limiting). The LOCK SCREEN on this tablet is something you can alter. (Other tablets - you couldn't touch anything other than off or on; the other thing with the other tablets was that you had 2-3 apps showing on the lock screen and notifications, I don't like having ANYTHING on my lock screen! this was completely do-able on my Lenovo Tablet! And it doesn't open all the apps that 'might have been' on the lock screen - which the other tablets did). The use of this tablet - overall has been absolutely brilliant. It can handle my graphically intensive games. I have watched films via Amazon Prime. The BATTERY LIFE is superb and RECHARGING Time is excellent. I can't say exactly how long it takes for a full recharge, but it's not very long. CONFIG of the tablet is accurate - with 2GB RAM, 16 GB HDD, 1.7 GHz OS - Android - upon first turning on the tablet, it allowed me to do the usual Google sign in, set up and then prompted me to go right to the OS update to the latest version of the OS. VERY Easy, very good set up. Also 're-checked' for any further installs. It ALSO has allowed me to sync with other mobile devices, so that I didn't have to hunt around on Google Play to find my favourite apps! (Just download and/or update) VERY easy. At THIS point - I HAVE had a FEW issues with connectivity to the Wi-Fi -- our router. GIVEN that I am pretty much only about 6 feet away from it (sitting on the couch, watching TV) I have lost my connection a few times. But DID resolve. OTHER USERS have mentioned this is an issue. Where you only see 1 or 2 bars on the wi-fi connection. I can confirm this is also present on mine, but once the connection is there, it's *There* and SOLID (I'd have to say it's only happened twice - which is really normal tbh on any mobile device or internet connection in general). The tablet DOES get warm - far upper left corner - where I'd presume the processor is. But does carry on and doesn't slow down insofar as performance. I have tried this with office style documents, PDF's, Kindle Reader (quite a few e-books, not just kindle) and have had no issues. Overall I am VERY happy with this tablet. I have grown so accustomed to having one, when my previous started to fail (Common over heating problems which eventually lead to its death :/ ) This tablet meets my needs and beyond. I can use it for business, study and play. And the life whilst in use of this tablet - is really fantastic. I have had no glitches, no hiccups, no FPS problems. The SOUND isn't *stupendous* but it's VERY good quality and nice enough that I can watch my films if I choose! I can see this tablet being a bit on the 'hefty side' if you're after a 'budget tablet' - but having tried the ones on Amazon in the ranges of £60-90 - which are all pretty much the same. SPEND The extra bit - to get THIS one, I Believe you'd find it very easy to use, and will support many needs. I DO use it A LOT - and if it can withstand ME - then it's a GREAT tablet. The ONLY QUIBBLE I had - make sure you register your tablet WITH Lenovo (Directly NOT through Amazon). WHEN you do - MAKE SURE TO CHECK The Warranty dates. My dates were inaccurate. CONTACT Lenovo - to correct this.I contacted them, I received an e-mail within 24 hours saying they were essentially on it. Another 48 hours and the problem was resolved. I now have a full year's warranty on it (if you have this problem, go to your orders page, to the item - to 'invoice' where you can save the PDF to your desktop...then when you go to report this issue with Lenovo - you can upload the PDF file OF your invoice as proof of purchase). THIS Was enough for them to correct the problem. Lenovo's customer care and provisions are excellent. Which is something I honestly wasn't expecting (This IS a budget tablet tbh!! just a higher 'end') - but very very very much worth it. The tablet is great, supports my needs, it does provide a LOT. The quality is VERY good and believe I have found my replacement (after fretting I never would!) I have also found a 'swivel case' ON Amazon (Infiland Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 ) Which fits ABSOLUTELY perfect (I have listed a review there as well). ALL spaces (power, volume, camera, speakers) have either vents, holes, or spaces to accommodate in the RIGHT Places. MOST other tablet cases for THIS tablet - do not have these features. AND it's a good price.

Great performer at an affordable price
For anyone sitting on the fence, I am very impressed with the quality of the product. I'd consider the build quality better than average and the screen quality is actually really nice and vivid. Tablet manufactures will throw around ppi (pixels per inch) as a measure of tablet superiority, but the text on this tablet is very crisp and clear. You'll find this tablet being unfairly compared to tablets which are 2 to 4 times the price, however, it’s a perfect companion for people who want to stream video from sources like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Also, browsing the internet is fast enough and I've yet to experience any problems with any lag. I'd only consider paying more for a tablet if you want to play a lot of games, but honestly its probably one of the better tablets out there for the money you pay. If you are still unconvinced, take a trip down to your local electronics store and play around with it for yourself. One point I thought I'd clarify with everyone is the maximum amount of memory that can be added in the form of a micro SD card. While Amazon indicates 32gb, there are some sites which mention 64gb. I took a chance and purchased a SanDisk 64gb micro SD card and can confirm that this table will work with the larger storage. What you need to do to get the larger storage to work is convert the card to the format Fat32 (higher storage cards will typically come pre-formatted as exFAT). The process took me less than five minutes and there are plenty of programs you can download for free to do this if you want the extra storage. So know I have an extra 64gb which makes the device even better!

Excellent piece of kit for the price.
Wanting a cheap tablet, this one caught my eye with 3 Important things: 1. Screen resolution - 1920 x 1200 (that's true HD capable) & 220ppi (higher the better for crispness & reduced text blur) 2. System Ram - 2gb allows for more apps running 3. Audio - Dolby Atmos For the price, you're getting some nice specs. It came shipped with android 5.0.1 & once connected to WiFi, there was another system update which took around 15 minutes to install/reboot/restart. As with all devices, you get the bloatwear. however, some of it can be uninstalled & the rest you don't want, disabled. So, performance wise: Screen is vibrant & bright, good viewing angles, and images/video are crisp & clear. Plenty of options to play around with the screen settings (if you like to fiddle). One gripe though - screen brightness can't be set to auto as there is NO light sensor built into the tab!! Now true HD is 1920x1080 so you actually get a bit more real estate on the screen which is never a bad thing. Audio - now for me, this is always high on the list & the fact this tablet comes with Dolby Atmos - that swung it in my favour. Now you've got to remember that this is a tablet so bass levels are going to be non existent! With that in mind, the audio is crystal clear & sounds a hell of a lot better than some top end tablets out there. Only downside? Speakers are on the rear (that is a bit of a head scratch but then could be down to way Dolby works). If you've got decent headphones though - plug them in & even I was taken aback to how it sounds! Wow!! System Ram - this is an important one as most tablets at this price range only offer 1gb (which is woefully pathetic considering how cheap it is!) Again, more Ram means more apps can run smoothly in the background & helps keep those larger apps running smooth. The quad core CPU also helps keep things running smoothly yet (and this is where they're crafty) UNLESS the Apps haven't been configured to use the extra cores - and there's a hell of a lot that aren't! Battery life is pretty good though I'd recommend using a different App to keep an eye on usage & keep the system optimal (bulk android one is useless!) All in all, I'm pretty happy with. Got a 64gb micro sim plugged in & also purchased the case (c/w BT keyboard). I've not used the cameras or tried any heavy use gfx so can't comment on them at the Mo. Only gets the 4* rating as they were so stingy by not adding a light sensor!!! Ooh, and before I forget, you also need to disable some certificates as I found these can cause quite a few headaches if you like your YouTube..

Extremely good product and great value for money.
I previously had a cheap tablet (~£100) which served its function but had very slow performance. This tablet while still very reasonably priced exceeded all of my expectations. The display is extremely good as is the Dolby sound which, unlike my old tablet, is well loud enough to hear comfortably. Mine came already loaded with Lolipop so I had no upgrades to do. It wasn't cluttered up with apps that I didn't need or want, just the usual ones. Despite having a very poor broadband signal in my area, this tablet performs incredibly fast, populating web sites almost instantaneously. The previou tablet could take long enough to go and make a up of tea while it loaded! Not sure why this one is so much quicker given the same broadband link but it is. Menus etc, scroll quickly and smoothly. Overall, the product appears to be very well made. I could go on for hours extolling its virtues but suffice to say I'd recommed this tablet to anyone.

Sent back in 48 hours- unusable and malfunctioning
I must write this review to warn potential customers about my experience. I bought this tablet for my daughter and on first look it seemed great- light and comfortable to hold. First you must set up a Google account to use the Android operating system and we got access to the web browser. Thereafter we had a serious problem. The Play Store screen was blank white, and other icons such as youtube and skype just gave error messages and woudn't load at all. We finally managed to get to Play Store through the Chrome icon and apparently installed some free app games which stated they had installed- but were not visible anywhere on the tablet. I took the tablet into my work and a tech-savvy colleague examined it and soon found out that the errors seemed to be an out of date android operating system that was causing the software to be 'out of sync' and meant the tablet was not fit for purpose and totally unusable. He said it was impossible to fix it without a total wipe and install of new software which was impossible. I decided to return it, and have to praise Amazon. They issued an immediate refund. But really, this company Lenovo has to be called out for this. It is outrageous to supply deficient tablets which are not fit for purpose. How many other customers have had this disappointment? I will not touch any Lenovo product with a barge pole in the future and am writing this review to warn others to not waste their time or money on this. Very disappointing product- avoid at all costs.

Nice tablet initially let down by faulty Dolby audio feature
I really like this tablet, except for one thing - the specially featured Dolby Atmos audio facility is literally broken. It does not work. The Dolby Atmos demo is completely silent - which isn't good for an audio feature. I've tried two factory resets as well as a couple of other suggestions from the Lenovo forums, but nothing works. As I wanted this tablet primarily for watching movies and TV I guess it'll be going back to Amazon in a day or two. Such a pity as I otherwise like it. Update 3/12/16: I decided to ask Amazon for a replacement as I like it aside from the faulty Dolby software. The replacement is, of course, identical, with the same non-working Dolby application. Such a shame. If anyone knows how to get the featured Dolby audio app to work, please let me know (soon!). April 2017: the Dolby problem went away following a system update in early 2017, but ongoing problems include frequently losing the wireless connection (every couple of minutes), and occasional freezes (daily). I love having a good quality 10 inch screen, but I'm rapidly going off this device. Taking another star off.

Great value, beautiful screen
I bought this as a gift to my fiancés, It has a nice feeling in the hand and feels well built. The buttons arent loose and work when pressed, you know if youve pushed them. The screen is the big selling point of this tablet, great viewing angels and wonderful colours as expected from an ips screen, makes looking at video and films very enjoyable. It is also a very adept magazine reading platform text is very crisp and sharp. Im sure there are faster tables about these days, however if you are a relatively light user i.e chrome, amazon, youtube (up to 1080P) and amazon you wont be disapoonted. The dual forward firing speakers are great and the heaphone jack is in the perfect location if your looking at a film with the tablet in landscape (very cleverly thought out). I took this on a trip to tokyo and the battery life if very impressive easily lasting airport arrival. Flight and the next airport with a good amount of life left when i got to the hotel. This thing was great on that trip, (purchase a generic case thatll hold it in landscape and your onto a real travelling companion) I would highly recommend this tablet

Excellent budget tablet
I can't praise this product enough. For the money it is by far the best tablet I have brought. Back in the day I brought the first Google Nexus 7 inch which was a massive disappointment. It slowed to a crawl in 6 months and was unusable after 12 months. I have since brought the Nvidia shield 2 and like the Nexus it slowed down dramatically and is glitchy, something I never expected for something marketed as a gaming tablet. I didn't actually hold out much hope for this Lenovo tablet when I brought it because it was cheaper than the others I had brought. It has however lasted over 12 months without issue. Updates to android have come and gone and I have seen no slow down in performance. Apps open up quickly, I rarely see any glitches, it never freezes up. I don't play games on it. I use it for watching netflix, browsing the internet, checking email and the occasional Skype call. All of this it handles effortlessly and the battery performance is good. So if you want a budget tablet for doing what I have mentioned I'd be surprised if you could do better for sub 140 GBP.

ottimo prodotto
