ATX

LOOVEEE THIS PEN! Much better than my old (cheaper) cross pen. Worth the price x1000. Ink comes out beautifully without any problems, not experienced any leaking of the ink, feels really good to hold and has a great, smooth glide on paper. Only had it for a month or two roughly, so can't comment on long term, but currently this stands as the best pen I've used and I'd buy 10 of them if I had the money to throw at them all haha! Love it. Would recommend more than anything.

The pen looks and feels great. My only disappointment is that it didn't have an ink cartridge with it, and I'd not ordered any cartridges as the description said it came with one. Only a minor gripe, the pen will be great when I get to use it. Arrived in great time too. My refill arrived, and as expected the pen is so good, it writes beautifully!! I love it!!

Design is perfection. the execution is troubled. I prefer the style and balance of cross writing implements and for me the ATX is the perfect daily writing tool. Don't need any set piece high-end jewellery, just something clean and robust to scribe with. This is my second and unfortunately not a patch on the ten year old original. The build is perfection but crucially the nib is mechanically flawed and resolutely recalcitrant when it comes to delivering the essential ink. I complained to the supplier who commented that they are now made in China, citing this as the reason for a dip in quality. I eventually returned my instrument under the lifetime warranty, which was flawlessly managed by the CROSS staff, however the ink flow problems returned after a couple of cartridges. Still too good to trade over to the alternatives, but the classic robust quality appears to have gone.

Seems great quality don't understand where other comments are coming from. If your hands are sweaty it can be a bit slippery but if you put a small black sticker pad thing on the bottom of it it is hardly noticeable and stops that slipping. However, it doesn't slip unless you literally are soaking wet. The quality seems nice, just a shame I didn't get it engraved. The design looks even cooler in person too. The texture of the brushed metal is really nice and is in nice contrast to the chrome grip. Would defo buy again but would get an engraving.

I made sure I'd read reviews and asked qustions of other buyers before going ahead with the purchase of this pen. I didn't want a slimline pen, or something that is "scratchy" to write with. When I opened the box and picked it up for the first time, it was much lighter than I expected it to be. This is not a criticism, just an observation when compared to the really heavyweight Cross pen I already have. I expected the build quality to be more substantial like the pen I already have. Having said all that, the pen is silky smooth on the paper, and a real pleasure to write with. From a writing experience point of view, the nicest fountain pen I've ever owned. At 35 quid odd this is a no brainer----a bargain must have. Seller was prompt with free delivey too!

I love Cross pens. They have really good ink flow and writes smoothly. However this product didn’t not come with 2 ink cartridges as described in the contents. Have to spend more to get a converter and few cartridges which is a shame really considering the cost of the pen itself .

Mi pare una stilografica ben costruita, che può ospitare un converter con innesto a vite proprietario (non fornito con la penna). La finitura del corpo penna è interessante, anche se, per il mio gusto, clip e pennino completamente neri la rendono un po' monotona. La sezione è in metallo, e questo potrebbe renderla un po'scivolosa per qualcuno. La penna scrive molto bene, con tratto fine abbondante, complice l'inchiostro molto fluido della cross (nella confezione ci sono due cartucce, ad innesto proprietario). Cambiando inchiostro, il tratto e il flusso si ridimensionano. Purtroppo il pennino è molto rigido, e non offre nessuna variazione di tratto. Però scrive bene, scorrevole, senza nessun difetto. E, proprio per la sua rigidità, è anche molto preciso nella scrittura per chi ha la mano nervosa Secondo me è una ottima penna per tutti i giorni.. una ottima ..."anti-roller". Sono contento di averla presa
