I purchased a used one in Amazon. I had to buy two to get one that worked. That being said I contacted the company directly and they were amazing! Most parts in this unit are less than 100.00 . If you ever have to repair it, it is easy to replace components.. I have a small house in south Florida with one bathroom and shower. It provides plenty of hot water at correct temperatures. I recommend this unit highly and I was able to install it myself. One 50 amp breaker, wiring is all that is required. Shark bite fittings for water connections work best. Most of the other units available for less are not serviceable and throw away. This one is not. High quality and excellent service.

This was used to replace a failing Bosch (a 20year old design) that required the hot water to be turned on full blast to provide approx 40deg heat rise. The Steibel operates as low as 1/3 force and provides water at preset temp at any flow rate above about 1/4. I had to repair or replace the Bosch units about every 3-6 years. We'll see how long this Steibel lasts. But in the meantime it is wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone replacing an old style electric demand water heater.

Purchases 2022 Works well and gets smoking hot I only have it hooked up to 3 sinks, a washer and a dishwasher but I’ve never had an issue with hot water, I also haven’t ran all those at once. I give it 5 stars cause it does the job. You will have to run 8 gauge wire to it if you get the Tempra 20 make sure to hook up the proper breakers (ask grok or gpt). It does takes a lot of power when in use the good thing is it’s not in use unless you have the hot water running. Tankless take up very little room. I did use shark bites lol.
