I wonder which works better in ironing performance; steam generator vs this one?

Walk away do not buy. A steam generator is much more efficient. This broke after 6 months and I no reply from the company. Takes longer to iron and clothes still look creased. Have purchased a new Steam Generator by John Lewis and it is brilliant, it has cut my ironing time down by half.

Does it come with a Guarantee?

Guarantees are irrelevent and pointless. The sale of goods act, makes the seller responsible not the maker, and products should be fit for purpose for up to six years.

Does this iron make a lot of noise? I currently have a morphy richards steam generator iron which is very noisy.

Very little noise. There's no steam pressure noise as there's no steam function - the way it works is through a spray and it irons well. It beeps to tell you when it's at the right temperature and a safety feature if left unattended but other than that it's quite and makes less noise than all my previous irons. It also makes no mess unlike steam irons.
