Boohbah: Cracker And More Boohbah Magic [DVD]

Boobah issues from the Ragdoll Productions stable, which is run by Anne Wood, who to my mind must be one of the most inventive creators of chidrens TV to come out of the UK, and when you look at the overall quality historically, that is some achievement. Boohbah stands between her two more successful BBC series, after "Teletubbies" and before "The Night Garden". While I remain a big fan of both of these, Boohbah is without doubt my favourite. It has an almost ethereal quality in its early sequences - it's psychedelia for kids (and mine love it!). The sequences with the 'story people' characters have a charm and zaniness that it totally endearing. This show was produced for ITV and never attained the same status as the other BBC productions; there are also only to my knowledge, 3 DVDs produced from it. They are all brilliant.

okay i didnt buy it new but i expected it to work properly it kept jumping due to the scratches my daughter was not happy.

Bought for my son who loves boohbah.
